I won an American Golf competition for a Honma driver. Unfortunately AG couldn’t fulfil the prize as Honma have pulled out of the European market, probably because of these issues. AG sorted an alternative for me so all good in the end.

Bought Honma xp-1 driver off eBay for less than £150...only played on cold early mornings so far but it's been going as far as my cobra f9 did in summer conditions and it's a lot more forgiving....and the tr21 hybrids are just as good and similarly cheap in comparison as more favourable brands

Honma makes some great clubs, but I think it's just a lack of familiarity with the brand outside of the east, and what they are more known for are the clubs with actual gold in it. I got the XP-1 3 wood from your previous video, but I got it before you made the video. It's a beast for me, at times it rivals my driver. Off the deck it's good too, but I don't have as much experience with that. The good news is, the people who know about them can find a good deal.

I've played all my life and it's hard to break out of the brands we know. It's more to do with "you know what you're getting" with a titleist for example. That Honma upgrade in aesthetics is on a different league 😬
