It’s no different then traveling to a city where you got family/loved ones who stay there. You gonna hit them up and let them know you in town, that way y’all may link & hang out. For rappers / people in the industry it makes sense and is no different especially for safety reasons People keep looking at it from an ignorant standpoint of thinking it has to do with extortion and dumb shit when it’s not.

@@SuperbNProsper That’s some BS because if you don’t then it’s a problem all of sudden. Because they are getting extorted for real. A lot of them pay off people like Cash Money. They really got extorted by Zo Pound when they moved to Miami after Katrina. That ain’t no industry gossip. Nip got deleted because he tried to keep Big U from extorting DJ Khalid. Rick Ross really paid the GDs that wasn’t no gossip. Record labels rarely invest in street dudes. It ain’t no business networking or “family”. It’s street business period. For gangsters extortion is the main income.

I see this from a lot of NY’ers thinking other regions hate NY or don’t respect NY….fact of the matter is this ain’t the 80s no more and these other cities got their own legends they look up to, ain’t looking for NY’s to accept them, got their own politics to worry about and ain’t even thinking about NY enough to hate NY or not respect NY….but from what I see, NY’ers get love in other cities, ones who travel know the love and hospitality they get when they hit other cities.

I can honestly say New York is the Mecca much respects. When New York had the power they were not welcoming to outsiders. Some NY dudes were actually deliberately disrespectful for years. They spoke down on the other regions & their artist. Now other regions got the juice they haven’t forgotten. I was a jit in Florida Biggie came to Orlando to perform. People waited hours he did one song, brought Shaq on stage started leaving. The crowd began rushing the stage throwing bottles at them. Shaq ran & jumped into the crowd. Parted like the Red Sea. People didn’t forget those years of disrespect. They fucks with the Hov, Nas, Kiss, Fat Joe, Nore they always showed love to down south. IMO

She had Deb on Queen Radio giving her her flowers. So wtf is he talking about? What more do y’all want from Nicki? Lol damn. She ain’t say Deb name in a VMA speech, oh well. It was about how Deb, Bimmy, Big U, Haitian Jack (2Pac's "enemy") & a few other's all got involved with Hip Hop & their lives before it. They've all known each other for a long time. It was 🔥! 🤴🏽✌

. . . . Is someone supposed to "Pay Homage" every single time they win something or are honored? It starts to sound like arrogance and ignorance when you want your Tribute every time a person wins. I'm willing to bet they've paid respects at least a few times be it in public or private!

@@kayyrobin958 nobody said she was god but Nicki clearly has a God complex. For someone who wants every other female rapper to bow down to her and kiss ass, she barely mentions Deb.
