Nocturne Op.27 No.2 in D flat major-Piano solo

The genre titled 'nocturne' was fairly common place influenced by enhanced cultural status of the night but in the hands of Chopin it came to be associated with a pianistic style shaped by vocal imitation.The archtype of the 'nocturne sound'-ornamental melody supported by widespread arpeggiations firmly in place.The D flat major is well composed and goal directed and its construction is immensely subtle.
