I'm not a photography buff so I had no idea what you meant by shooting raw and had to look it up. 😅 will keep checking back for more useful tips!

@@Noealz many many thanks noe. Greetings from Texas! I've been watching your channel for a year now and love your stuff. I bought a older camera a canon rebel xsi and that's what I'm learning on.

Don't see any reason why you need extra (interchangeable) lenses as a beginner. A not that old, camera with a wide angle lens around F2 or faster will give you enough room to crop, excellent bokeh and focus fall off. Gimp is great free open source editor and gives you lotsa tools to edit. The only thing you need is a RAW convertor when shooting raw but there are free ones out there.

I think it's good to be able to chance lenses if you're going for a certain look. Lots of free editing softwares out there, people can choose anything they'd like - Darkroom is just one of the ones off the top of my head :)

@@Noealz What kind of look......, please tell me what you can do which I can't, with a wide angle lens ? - This is a typical gear thing you don't need and you are always debate !! Cause where as it comes to street photography I can do everything with a wide angle lens, even portraits with a bit of fiddling .

@@RS-Amsterdam Some people might be interested in the compressed look, and some people might want the more spaced out look - I didnt talk about it much, but it's just one of those things that people eventually might want to try. but I am not going to dwell on that so much, it is just nice to have a camera to switch lenses when you eventually feel like learning a bit more

@@Noealz Well you can have a "compressed" look with wide angle lens too, if you step back enough and crop. The problem with wide angle lenses is they will distort subjects close by. However a picture taken of a building at 80 mm and the same building in the distance taken with a 28mm and then cropped to 80 mm will give you exactly the same image (compression) ! So if that is YOUR reason to have multiple lenses it is hereby debunked ;-)

some people just might want to experiment eventually :)
