While you're at it, can we also divert commercial airliners to fly at a reasonable distance away from the Kakaako-Ala Moana? This happens whenever the wind directions are blowing from the south (Kona Winds). Those airliners are awfully close to high rises in the area whenever they're approaching for landing at the HNL airport!

What determines a loud exhaust system (not the muffler alone. Loud muffler is an oxymoron...so is a smart politician)? Will law enforcement officers be equipped with calibrated decibel meters as evidence to present in court or a self calibrated "human ear?" The Ford Raptor OEM exhaust sports setting is Federally compliant concerning decibel levels and still owners are cited for loud faulty exhaust [not just the muffler]. So Hawai'i, how say you? If i am ticketed I'd fight this in court all day until evidence is presented my exhaust system actually violated the law with excessive decibels. Not just a professional opinion because most law enforcement officers are not ASE automobile mechanics concerning exhaust systems. "See you in court officer," would be my polite reply as i sign the citation.

The noise has been around waikiki forever. If you buy a home or condo there, then you alreadt know what it comes with. NOISE! And the concrete isn't new either. It has always been concrete towers. QUESTION- If you buy a home next to a freeway, or a bus stop, do you cry and ask the state to re-route the highway? Move the bus stop to the next corner?
