Lovely video series! I ate fish with mashed peas in Scotland. I had never seen it before. In Scotland it was mashed with mint. Strange for my New Orleans palate, but good. Thanks for sharing!

We've been in Tromso twice. Once in May and once in July. It was even cold there in July! Did you go to the planetarium or the Arctic Cathedral? Sooo many things to see. We loved the people so much. Norway is the most beautiful place we've seen and we've traveled all over. I'm not sure I could do such short daylight hours in the winter though!

I “Googled” McDonalds chili burger in Norway and as you discovered, it doesn’t have the chili an American would expect. It is referring to using sliced jalapeños, spicy relish and a nacho cheese sauce. I did notice on the menu you showed that I thought I saw the word bernaise right after the word chili, which would indicate to me something in sauce form, so perhaps they are talking about the nacho cheese sauce. Now I want one so that I can take it apart and see what it actually is! I love going to McDonalds around the world and seeing what their menu offers.
