It’s getting so advanced now I am constantly blown away by what artist are achieving with it. Radial symmetry has been high on my wish list. What’s the TOP three things you would like to see from Nomad next?
@TankRust3 жыл бұрын
A rudimentary bone deformation system for posing after modeling would be amazing! Oh, and that particle engine ;)

I am so excited by how fast the app developed till now. I like making characters so a pose tool or armature would be nice

Stencil projection painting with colour brushes. UVs but it is workable to bake those after reducing and unwrapping the model on a computer. Automatic validation and voxel merging of inserted primitives, after inserting a new one, would be fun.

It is amazing how much we are getting. The value we are getting form a one time purchase feels criminal! I would love to see a polish brush similar to Zbrush. In the same vein a move infinite.

Really cool. Being an Environment artist, really like to see more of this, in rhe form of a series that includes Nomad, Cozy blanket and procreate for hard surface baking using objects like modular pipe kits, furniture, scifi crates, trimsheets and tiling Textures.

A real game-changer right here! Late to the party, I know, but I've been wondering if we could do this in Nomad - and here it is. Thanks again!

No problem and glad you like it!

One tip I'd like to add is that the Red/Green/Blue planes in the modeling window correspond to the X/Y/Z axes in the symmetry tab. A time saver for those new to 3D modeling!

Psyched! The way Nomad keeps evolving, I’m not sure I’ll ever need Zbrush. Thanks 🙏☕️🎩🎩🎩 Any predictions for an EXTRUDE function???
@SouthernGFX3 жыл бұрын
The issue with an extrude function is that it would mean that there were polygon manipulation tools in the pipeline line and as much as I would KILL for that I can't see it being high on Stéphane's list. I hope I'm wrong. I need poly tools ion the iPad right now!
@Kyle_Butterfield813 жыл бұрын
@@SouthernGFX Super noob here, Glen, what is a Polygon manipulation tool, or a Poly tool?
@johndeggendorf78263 жыл бұрын
@@SouthernGFX That makes sense. I’m trying ways around it, conforming to the Nomad tools. Can always go back & forth to Blender, but…It’s all coming to the iPad eventually. ✌️🎩

7:31 Okay, you did "extract" and then "solo" to cut out the filigree. But exactly where is "solo"? There is no indication on your screen. I'm lost if you don't point to what you're clicking. I'm still learning my way around Nomad. Thanks.

To silence out walls completely You need triangle pyramidlike multiple cloned. Musicians use it very often in their studio.

This was great! I'm wondering how hard it would be to create seamless textures around an object going forward from this new tool. this is my only program for sculpting, but I know wrapping textures around objects is done in other programs. this was a brilliant edition to Nomad, and I'm sure its only a matter of time until we move from this to texturing around a surface. Thanks for this awesome tutorial!

I missed somethin. At 7:31 you extracted and then said 'Solo.' The parts not masked vanished...solo? It looks like the video was edited right there. So you deselected that layer right?

In the bottom left bar between LOCK and MASK is the SOLO button that only shows the currently selected item(s) in this case the shell.

We could probably make some lamp out of this model by adding inside 2nd smaller object. The only thing would be, how can we make it be bright by itself, so that light would cone out from inside?
