Did you hear the story about Roger Ver, a Multimillionaire, gave up his US citizenship, getting a Passport from St.Kitts. Didn't help him. Got arrested in Spain at a Bitcoin Conference and is now stuck in Mallorca unable to leave....He is an BTC advocate, that was his 'crime'. There are no laws anymore. They do what they want, if you are important enough/ a threat to 'them'. USA wants him even though he is not a US citizen anymore.

@@rockys6661 The gov hold the gold in storage for 5 year (1st kg). The storage is held by the gov locally and offshore (Dubai). The other 19kg you can buy over 5 years at a small discount to market which is freely exportable. Yes, you get free movement through ECOWAS and residency in those other countries is essentially just a local registration requirement. Andrew is correct when he says it gives you access to the whole ECOWAS community - akin to EU membership in fact.

Thank you for your videos. In today’s uncertain economic climate, investors are rethinking how to protect and grow their wealth. With traditional banking systems under pressure, it’s crucial to explore alternative strategies. Diversifying into high-growth assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies can serve as a hedge against inflation and market downturns, offering not just capital preservation but also opportunities for higher returns. The plane home to London was arriving empty from Sierra Leone but landed half full as 150 people had "paid" to board the plane to escape the country's coup/war. The next plane was not for another week, and rather than pull lots out of a hat we were told that whoever gets to the plane first flies home, sparking a mad rush across the tarmac. Those were the days, mad. PS don't feel sorry for those left behind, BA had to put them up in a luxury hotel for a week, plus expenses.

Think: a dedicated ladies only Aerobics facility. There is a high demand for this but no facilities. Everyone can pay USD3 per session in a dedicated facility which accomodates 100 users each 45 minute session. Do the math on a USD70K cash investment and assume 5 sessions x 50 users daily each paying USD3 ($150 x5 x 300 days p.a - 30% for costs and taxes) (say 55K net). Hellooooooo?

I have a question about taking your gold with you!!! How do you take your gold with you without customs seizing it or taxing it 100% in the country of arrival? Please Andrew answer this one!
@matthewnirenbergКүн бұрын
Most people have paperwork that proves they legally bought it. They declare it but in most of the "west" its considered an 'instrument of finance' and not always subject to declaration of the value/amount, but always subject to declaration of being carried. Also, in most of the 'west' there is no tax on investment grade gold bullion. Lastly, things are very different when you fly private or have a private yacht. In some parts of CANZUK and CUNA if you have receipts and/or credit card/bank statement showing the transaction and you declare it, you're unlikely to have issues. Some countries don't even have reporting for it as its not cash - its physical bullion being personally transported by the owner. The simplest solution is to move small amounts (1oz) at a time with you in your wallet as you travel - literally bit by bit staying within the legal limits to avoid having to declare the value/quantity. Be aware though that you'll still want to have receipts and other documentation proving you legally acquired it as some countries will seize even $1 if they don't see proof of legitimacy of money or valuables (incl. bullion). At the end of the day, people will always find ways to move their wealth around.

Residency means you want to live their with your gold.
@eightspritesКүн бұрын
You could probably trade it for bullions and have them mailed back to your home country over a few months/years. You ofcourse need some purchase documentation, but I don’t think it has to state you bought it using gold instead of cash. Afterall people buy both silver and gold bullion and bars all the time overseas, with shipping home. I had a colleague do it, got 3 gold coins, one for each of his children.

Sure you would if you were going to continue buying substantial amounts of gold over time ...plus acces to the 15 countries markets
