I have lupus. Dogs can get it too. It's an autoimmune disorder and affects the joints and organs. It shows up as a "butterfly rash" across the nose and cheeks. The fact that it's symmetrical under both eyes gives me cause to consider lupus. If the cream doesn't clear it up altogether, or if she's exhibiting signs of fatigue, consider testing her for lupus. It's a very difficult disease where dogs suffer a LOT. The nose rash is only the tip of the iceberg. It's mostly internal. With a lot of joint pain, fatigue, organ inflammation, kidney issues, and the gamut. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. So it's good to catch it sooner. And make decisions about whether you want her to endure. The sun also triggers lupus flares, so living outside would be unsustainable.

So I learned from my roofer recently that the screws should be screwed on the flat right next to the ridge. Mine are all screwed in on the high too. But thought it was interesting. There was a reason, something to do with gaps and bubbling or warping.

Does the dog eat or drink from anything plastic? Plastic holds a lot of bacteria and I don't know about dogs, but cats can develop acne that looks like black heads because of it. Stainless is the best option. It's crazy the vet jumped right to cancer and didn't try an antifungal first. Glad you guys got it figured out and hope she's continuing to improve! Hope you guys have a great trip back to the states and best of luck with the Roastery!!

Yes, having grandchildren is wonderful, but then they grow up and enter the world of adulthood. Off they go to college! When they are home you see flashes of them. Off with friends, as yell; "Hi Grandma, I love you"". It's dinner time, that's so important around here. So enjoy them while they are young, build that relationship. So you too will hear that yell; "Hi Grandma/Grandpa, I love you ". It's the best 5 words you'll hear!

Thinking about the pups nose and you said you had a fruit fly overload there. I bred and trained dogs for many years and one year in particular we had a plague of flies. One of our dogs in particular ended up with a fly blown nose that looked much like your pup. The irritation has probably opened up the skin to a fungal infection. Once healed we bought a good quality tea tree cream with is very soothing and smells nice to us but flies hate it. It's a natural insecticide. In the summer we would coat her nose in this and had no more problems after that.

Hey guys so I’d definitely still have the vet put her on a week antibiotic as well though to help fight the spread. My daughters pitbull had to be put down over a bacterial infection that actually started similar to that but was all over as well so like I said definitely antibiotics on top of cream and I’d keep her separated from the others just till end of antibiotics cycle. Bathroom looks amazing! 👍🏼🫶🏻PS glad your coming back our way, I actually live on the Mass/vt border next to readsboro in the Berkshire’s! Much love guys!

First so glad the roof is on so you can keep working. I’m sure y’all are so glad to be coming to the states. From y’all always reading to Sadie that she loves it and is learning so much. I absolutely loved it when she knew to smell a flower. Her face was so excited when Kaylee asked her if she wanted to read a book. She had a smile from ear to ear. Plus when you read to her she totally pays attention to everything in the book and what you are reading to her. So I am going to make a request, please. A video solely of nothing but Sadie and y’all reading to her. I love seeing her just so into the books and totally concentrating on everything you say. She loves it and I love watching her. As long as y’all keep reading to her she is going to be so smart. Most babies her age would get bored after the first few pages but not Sadie. She wants you to read the whole book and she actually follows you from page to page. I’m sorry but I could go on n on about how she is so amazing when you read to her. She amazes me!

Excellent linament salve for just about Anything skin infection; Mix Flowers of Sulphur And petrolatum. You can Mix as you need or dip sum out of the container fill it with the Sulphur and use the jelly lightly to clean off grease or as moisturizer . With animals substitute vegetable shortening. Amazing thing is r The animal will try to lick it off and it won't hurt the animal but works its magic as an anti b.acterial

Kaylee what a sweet moment you shared with us. My baby boy used to be just like that with books. When I would ask him if he wanted to play he would always get excited like that and bring me a book to read to him. I loved those times with him so much. I knew I had to cherish every moment with him cause he was going to be our only child. Sadie made me smile and cry tears of happiness. Just brought back so many memories for me. My baby is now 18. but still my baby.
