That does just about sum up what happened with Trump. Oh accept he actually conceded without incident once all legal avenues were expended. You realize questioning election results isn't new? Bush v. drw23 is exactly right. So many times Alex has been way too generous, whether in letting Tim Key keep going after a clear error, or voluntarily walking on shaky ground. Nice to see him argue for a bit for once - even though, strictly speaking, he should have been out. But the problem was really the category. There needs to be a way to strike down a proposed category - like, what if Key opened with something like "Hugh Grant, no more people with a vowel anywhere in their name." The game would just end right there! A category that's so broad it basically stops the game should not be allowed in the first place, and "wearing all black" definitely comes close if not crosses that line.

Well you wouldn't, because you'd be asking the wrong question. The problem with Horne's defence isn't that the concept of 'all black' is problematic in some abstract metaphysical or ontological sense, just that it's definition *for the purposes of the game* is ambiguous. Mind you, that itself could be philosophically interesting - Wittgenstein, language as a system of shared meanings, etc.

Who knows what was going on down there. The rest of his pants weren't even necessarily black forget about his footwear. The fictional challenge was pretty funny. He did have a cartoon series, and it is a persona, but ultimately it's a real person who's given themselves a stage name. it's a challenge I'd have thrown out early in a game if I still had both spares.

Let’s be honest BTL, if Key’s pulling what Horne tried to pull there, we’re celebrating. It’s genius defence from Horne and I’m convinced Mike Dean should have been a lure.

What colour were your belt buckles though? Was going to say bra straps but that really doesn't read well.
@katiehough24993 жыл бұрын
@@Peteroranje can only speak for myself but I didn't wear a belt. As for underwear, I think if it can't be seen (from any angle, not just because a photo is too cropped) then it doesn't matter. I probably did have a black bra just in case, and I'm sure Vader is the same.

I'm Team Horne on this one, if only because his argument about all black / fictionality is the most human I've ever seen him act, and then he immediately lost his mind while insisting he fall on his sword, and I'm starting to worry about the dude.

Darth Vader has metal alloy on his all black outfit the same way that Hulk Hogan is wearing all black (a black leather belt, where the clasp is probably titanium or stainless steel). Horne should have argued his case, realized he lost, and walked like the others have done, instead of muddying the waters so much that no one felt comfortable continuing the game.
@benjaminmoss27673 жыл бұрын
Back Horne to the hilt on the all black Hulk Hogan call. Nice to see him standing up for himself for once when he’s walked on plenty of soft ones before (Buzz Aldrin....). Scandalous that he then walked (without even being challenged!). A ridiculous game. But all in all I don’t think I mind it.
