At 7:34 I love the answer there where he points to the tendency for us to parrot ideas we've heard elsewhere, and not be speaking from experience. That is the conundrum, as soon as we start to the putting of labels and language to it, we start looking for references. It's virtually impossible to talk about this stuff, and certainly as soon as it starts to become some kind of debate, and not just an exploration of ones own experience of knowing/being, we can at least keep helping each other keep not forgetting to couch it in the actual being instead of some ideas we've read elsewhere.

I just wanted to say thank you for uploading these interviews! I'm sure I've heard similar things said many times. I think the way they insist on going back to "the basics" over and over is helpful in seeing that you really need to SEE (or confirm as they say) that first. After that is seen, the usual doubts and questions can arise but they will hopefully just serve as a reminder to go back to the basics again: Are you the one who feels to BE in need of resolution of doubt, or are you the condition in which "need for resolution" appears. Is that one affected negatively by doubt? Thanks again ❤

@@bolaursen1 There is a clear difference between a guru that had no insight to the self and the moment he realized his self. One cannot say that from the persons level there is no difference, when there clearly is. As long as there are doubts, there is a person. If all doubts are cleared, there is no person. While it is true that from the perspective of the supreme, which cannot have any relativity in it, there is nothing to realize.But there is something to realize as long as we imagine ourself to be seperate.

@@SaithMasu12 Frank Yang: A lot of people get into spirituality and they start negating the conventional self and become a nihilist or a radical non dual spiritual kunt who bypasses with statements like “oh there’s nobody here and there’s nothing to do”. That’s craving for non-Being. The conventional self arises when the right conditionality arises and ceases when the conditionality ceases, that’s it! It’s part of nature’s process. . . . He did say in this talk that it is important to look...to see what _is_ here. It's no thing, but it's not nothing. There can be a recognition...a shift in identity...from the foreground to the background.

I am happy John Wheeler has not called for these talks to be taken down. It is so refreshing to hear discussions with no 'extra' spiritual stuff attached just a clear pointing from someone with no interest to sell anyone a course to get 'it' in the future. There is no doubt about presence / awareness it is whatever arises. ---------------------------------------------

Why would he call for them to be taken down? He seems to have disappeared off the nonduality scene, can't seem to find out why though. A great loss.

@@drewthompson8675 i believe its the Message He trasmits. He doesnt want a following that conceptualizes his Idea. Because thats his Message, dont conceptualizes, dont read, dont listen to Talks, Just look for yourself.

No better in the west than Wheeler., seen from here. So many have benefited from seeing him once or listening. And one clear pointer like this is enough for idea of separation to dissolve. If John asks me to take it down I will have to do so.

@@reagancartercrash They truly are. I've never heard such simplicity - ever! It comes naturally to this guy. One is simply born with that. Can't be forced. There are so many self centred 'look-at-me-narcissistic preachers' out there, wanting attention, fame and money and we know that breathing (being) isn't for sale. Not many hear this and go to the next thing to hear 'more'. It is NOT about more. If it was, all the millionaires would have this understanding. I am speaking from my perspective and what I've seen for myself in this short spiritual life. One who doesn't collect seekers as the trophies (for their own self-centredness and benefit) is a humble, down to earth genuine being. It is really good Wheeler hasn't turned that way.

Thanks for the upload , once we become aware that there is no antidote for global warming and we are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction event .This kind of wisdom will be of great benefit to help alleviate the extreme emotional suffering that is inevitable as things get progressively uglier.

I also feel like the radical is more confusing like John spoke on briefly about when they say “ who’s the I that will do the looking” radical tries to say there isn’t any awareness no consciousness, etc. which to me doesn’t feel right at all. It’s also felt that apparent others in the non-duality when they’re speaking about this at the end of the day they’re all trying to point to the same thing because there are no words for it. But I apparently resonate with John Wheeler, more than any other apparent speaker…❤
