While she was filming all her scenes as Abby for this season they intentionally doubled up the amount of security/bodyguard teams assigned to her just in case she had any death threats sent to her like what happened to Laura Bailey (video game Abby).

As far as I know they are making the second game's season into multiple seasons for the show. The story is a bit bigger and has a lot going on so it makes sense. I'm so excited! Love you guys btw!❤️

As someone who’s a huge fan of the game and has gone through it multiple times (yes, I said single game as I consider them one story, which they are spread over two separate launchers, not games), the show is great. Some tiny things they’ve changed have been meh, but mostly it’s been great, especially the story of Bill and Frank. Far better than what we see in the game. If you don’t know what happens in the game, please don’t spoil it for yourself, the story is absolutely phenomenal and is worth seeing for the first time. I wish I could back and see it unfold again. The writers of the game are absolutely brilliant.

@ it’s really one big story. But they just couldn’t slam it into one giant game (even though, I wouldn’t mind if they released a The Last of Us Anthology, when the third game comes out, which includes all three in one without any interruptions at all between the story lines)

@@rindayoo_ so would I. I think at this point it won’t happen just because they’ve made way too many remasters, parts and all that. If they from the beginning only released Part 1 and Part 2, then gave us free upgrades, and when Part 3 came out gave us the anthology for extra moolah with another visual/gameplay update, that would perfect.

Oh, so you guys don’t know the story of ‘The Last of Us: Part II.’ This will be a really cool! I hope you like it. The second game is narratively much richer than the first game, and so much more nuanced and complex. It’s like ‘Apocalypse Now’ meets ‘Godfather Part II’ with fungus zombies. I think if they do it well structurally 🤞🏾 it’ll be awesome!!!

No it's not, in terms of the gameplay, character models and the apocalyptic design/environment it's a 😂10/10 but in terms of story, narrative, character work and specifically pacing(which imo is one of the most important aspects of any game) was nowhere near the level of part 1

There's a lot of stuff that was cut from the second game due to pacing or budget issues, so I would love to see what ideas they bring back in and how they incorporate them into the story of Part 2 for a different medium in TV

I'm a fan of The Last of Us (Part I, the game) & thought the show was quite good, but it's no substitute for the game. By playing the game you spend more time with the characters, & by controlling the characters you grow a more personal attachment to them more so than just watching the show. So if you ask me, you're missing out if you don't play the game[s] at some point (Part II's narrative is a bit divisive). I can understand though as content creators you do benefit from going into Season 2 as blind as possible.
