Reloading is the way to go it's way more expensive now then it was when I got started but you can make better ammo then you get buying it it's also fun to figure out what your gun like

Agreed. I've been reloading for 38-SPL, 9 mm, .357 mag, .45-ACP, and .41 mag since the 1980s. It's a lot of fun and cranking out a couple of hundred rounds makes for an enjoyable afternoon activity. I also cast lead bullets for the .38-SPL, .357 mag, and .41 mag. For speeds above 1,000 fps, I add some hardener to the lead to keep leading to a minimum. Firing half a dozen JHPs to end my shooting sessions makes for an easier cleanup when I get home from the range.

Yeah! I got notification, too. And stocked up. Sure, it range ammo/5.56/193( didn't see .223, maybe sold out??) Will say, in my 25 mi radius, range ammo has leveled out, competitive recently. 3wk back, picked up buncha 5.56/855/62gr onna one day surprise stopby @ RK😊. Two other ffl's ( usually Alpine high, had off brand( prob range ONLY) @ street-level prices 4 wks ago. So, maybe we good til 10/Surprise!!

Don't wait to long on reloading. Powder prices are still going up. Get the dies, a micrometer and lee makes a small hand press that you definately need for load testing. Find your prefered powder and stock up before it gets insane. Also, try out some berger bullets. A lot of guys swear by them for prs

I've got a lot of primers and varget powder. The other option for powder is 4350. What I need are projectiles and brass. Lapua is supposed to start making 6gt brass, but I know alpha munitions does and they make a good product. I'm going to get a husky tool chest to organize my stuff more. Get some stuff that doesn't need to be in the safe outta of it because I'm running out of space for physical firearms, lol

@@andrewmconrad sounds like me. Running out of space but its a good problem. Alpha munitions brass is typically heavier that most. If you get some it will probably be reloaded the most. Ultimate reloader made a video with a custom 308 and consistently hit 1 mile shots with it. Heed the warnings though. They were using alpha brass.

I've got a few thousand small rifle primers. I would like to find some projectiles in 50 or 100 round boxes. Local Bass Pro only has a 250 pack of Berger's and that's just too much for me at this point in time. Also need to get some brass
