In my brief moments of waking up I am laughing and feeling exciting joy, but then it goes away. But it's the best. It's like I'm a child and I can play with everything and learn by doing everything and cannot be harmed...but it only lasts like five seconds and then it's gone for the time being.

Thanks, Fredness! Your demonstration of the ground of being and the arisings that you did in the end really helped me. And it brought back to me a memory that I had forgotten! I was about 5 or 6 and a friend and I were outside talking about death (!!), and I remember of us saying that we're just bubbles rising up that will burst someday. How weird that I remember that now!! Another wonderful video, Fred, and one that I'll watch again it is so helpful!

I had an experience one time that I was watching myself from above. It was like I was watching my future self because it ended up happening exactly the same way. Through out our lives we mentally create different avatars. When deep down there is only one you, one consciousness.

Appreciate these unpretentious, straight talks about oneness. I don't know why many resort to philosophical and poetical BS to point to this. Yes, language can only be a pointer to Truth, but the pointer got to be sharp, otherwise people will look all around due to ineffective pointing. I am not awake, but with this kind of communication, there is more chances of awakening for any. There are glimpses I could see, which could be further probed. For instance, what you said, 'What is born is the 'sense' of individuality'.

A "beginning" can only be determine as a beginning with an ending. For without an "ending", nothing can be begin.

There is no beginning, hence no becoming, and therefore no ending. :-)

But in this instance, my awareness is experiencing and ascertaining a beginning: and according to the aging process of this soma, an imminent ending is rational. Hi, Katie! Thank you for writing and please excuse my tardiness. I can't get to my channel every day. It's really funny that you mention this, because I am just this minute out of a session with a long-term student who Realized a long time ago and is now clear as a bell. He looked at me and said, "You know, Fred, I know it's not ABOUT relativity, but it sure does help to smooth it out." That's just one man's experience, but that's truly the norm. It doesn't happen instantly. This type of experience comes from people who have been with me for a while and who've done a lot in the way of seeing through believed thoughts. The youngest person I've ever helped awaken was sixteen. However, he had a big advantage. His father was awake and clear; he just didn't seem to be able to help his son. I did. So there are no rules about age, etc. However, I want you to be aware that what I do is help people deconstruct their sense of a "personal me" so that Truth is exposed to its own light. He'll need to want this-even though he may not yet know if he's drawn to it. Give him some exposure and see how it hits him. I want to be helpful for you and for him, and if this doesn't appeal to him that leaves me rather hamstrung. Will he stay with me long enough to really begin to clear? There's no way to know, but it's likely that his initial shift will wet his appetite. You're a very intelligent, insightful man. Thank you for sharing your views here. But you are confusing what happens here with something "Fred does". This teaching simply happens. I remember when my old editor, John Ames, took one of my posts and rewrote from a more academically correct view. It was about a third as long as my article. He asked what I thought of his rewrite. "John," I told him. "You think I'm writing. I'm not, I'm talking. I'm always talking, sometimes with a microphone, sometimes with a keyboard, and sometimes with a toss of my arms or the wink of an eye. This is all just happening." He never mentioned it again. And now, as much fun as this is - I mean that - I have to "go dark," because I honestly don't have time or attention to spare for more of this exchange. But it's been charming. Keep watching, keep commenting, and sometimes you'll hear back. But I ALWAYS read every comment, just as I ALWAYS read every review, and every email. Be well.

Fred Davis Fred, I really do understand that it "just happens". hahahahahahahaha. Trust me. May I have your personal permission (just messing with you hahaha, you know text can take allll the comedic relief out at times) to mix the relative and absolute non-dual languages in ambigous and seemingly uniformed ways so I can communicate very subtle but worthwhile points? Follow me on this. Everyone more or less wants to get "Enlightened" (Only to find out they stood exactly at the location they dreamt they weren't at!). There are teachers to help towards that end. You (who else can I refer to if not Fred hahaha, I gotta use language at least) happen to be doing "Teacher". Some teachers are obviously "better" than others (with love we gotta admit there are the disingenuous bunch out there, or even those that mass amounts of units don't resonate with, or those who aren't clear on the topic they speak etc etc) when I comment on a video with positive remarks I am simply saying "Fred Unit has been teaching so much that the efficacy in which Fred Unit teaches has gotten quite remarkable". So good in fact it's worth you knowing so that You; an aware unit can say "ohhhhhhh ok, I get what he (who happens to be me) is trying to point out, I'm doing this well, lets see how I can expand on this and help even more people given that this content really is valuable". I'm not saying: "I" separate entity KZbin commenter of various characteristics and behavioral patterns that appear as thoughts on the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, yet non existent in this phenomenal world, "field" of awareness, having been hypnotized by these thoughts and identifying with them, seek to live further by aggrandizing "Fred Units" teaching abilities thus getting in response from him something on the same level of consciousness that I sent out in the initial comment that will verify my beliefs about who I am (person, doer, ego, separate self, coolest guy ever). Hahaha. That's not (I sure hope not hahahaha) what I'm saying. I'm young (hahahahaha or am I), 20 yo and I think the coming years with technology on the rise teachers like yourself will be of signifcant importance. The worlds population is rapidly gaining access to the internet and may wonderful teachers are causing increased interest in the Non Dual Truth. Therefore I post comments like this from a perspective of all the people you still could reach and how you could still improve to do so. With all that in mind I hope that you have done nothing at all, yet found that the keyboard has typed a completely intelligent response to the "unit" on the recieving end, as have I. Much love to ya.
