They dished it out because at the time everyone swore up and down they would get eliminated any time, so it was strategic to get in your head that the team that had no chance was beating you. The more people said OG would lose at TI, the harder they tipped and wheeled. And I think many of the people that got mad did so because they were made to look like fools by a team of nobodies and washups. I personally never subscribed to the idea they were rude, it was just a reaction to all the condescending shit going on from both fans and other teams. This "prisoner's dilemma" (for the game theory's fanatics out there) is the pinnacle of battle strategy.

Imagine a mega farmed snowballing KOTL and hoodwink hunting you in the jungle with burst damage (which is the exact weakness of a morph in early game). But the guy kept his composure, was not tilted, and crawled his way back to push the team to victory. *also, imagine his role as a carry, having the need to share resources with ammar who’s also a farming 3. Im really impressed with both teams, awesome series. In particular: Game 1 Fnatic got dominated so hard early game, but showed signs of life mid game Game 3 clinical execution from fnatic to secure early game lead but equally incredible resilience from OG to stay calm and comeback. Outstanding players are Jabz and Ammar. Jabz innovative offlane picks feels like a fresh breath of air in this stale meta- i mean offlane ember/earth spirit and he made it work wow. Ammar game 3 build on tide was so damn brilliant- forego conventional tide item build and quickly built wraith pact to match enemy offlaners, followed by aeon to stay alive from sharpshooter combo, then refreshers. This match is my favourite all tournament, and probably all season as well. Props to both teams.

I feel like Fnatic shouldve built hex earlier and with Jabz and Jaunuel. I think hex was a good item against Tide, Morph and Pango. They have so much farm but the itemization was idk. I do think hex was a good item tho

@@lemonking8869 That too. Ember was pretty much useless against team fight oriented OG. Pretty sad match cuz DJ and Armel were popping off. Also Armel got alot of mispositions that killed him so there were alot of lil mistake that I think Fnatic couldve ended this with a win

@@Winter-bt3os I know. What I meant is that Armel went Urn,Eblade, Bkb, Octa and then Hex. He couldve just went Aether and then hex into octa. Treant also was farmed after he bought dag-refre, he can buy hex but was not able too. Ember went bkb Ags maelstrom, he couldve gone hex too. Morph cant third with hex, Tide cant kraken shell that, Pango will be deleted if he gets hexd first. They already got the answer for enigma which is Treants ults. I feel like they lack lockdown and Pango and Tide was just to free to casts their ultimates to win teamfights. Thats why I think Fnatics game was hard because they dont have a speific control target, its just Ember chains-CK stuns. Thats it. So I do think with like proper timing of the hex, I think Fnatic couldve win this fight. I think, they got outdrafted so, fnatic still was in the losing end.

How Fnatic lost game 3 is beyond me, they were too cocky and chose to get more kills instead of pushing towers, that is not lack of experience, that is arrogance and stupidity.

They tried high ground a few times but it wasn’t easy. I think that lineup is good if opposite team can’t take the stress as you dominate them so hard in early game. But once everyone has bkb, kotl really is not as useful. Kotl remain top farmed for most of the game to do what? He burst down morph once in the end but that’s it. They have no damage during fights. If they leave some money for ember then maybe it would turn out different. Still not a fan of core kotl

@@nikosensei4263 I watched the full game and they did try to push in a few times. I guess enigma was also clearing creep wave pretty effectively. Can see apart from the early game where hoodwink and kotl is dominating, they become less effective towards mid and late game

That's probably because Morph has the agi gain way up. With dagon 5, eblade + illuminate or hoodwink's acorn, they can definitely burst Morph.
