Great breakdown of the system. I can attest to how easy and quickly things can be altered as many times I have been over to help with testing and it only takes moments to adjust the setup to fit me (as I am much larger than Noob with longer arms and I have different preferences ) Can't wait to see what comes next as it evolves 😁

While something like this is probably going to be out of my price range for the foreseeable future, I will say I personally would want a larger mousepad attachment. Especially if I was gonna play Star Citizen and swap between flying and FPS, one of the most important things I learned that helped me aim better was that I was using too high a sensitivity and wasn't giving myself enough physical space for my mouse movements to be more precise. The option they have is certainly better than nothing but if they didn't offer a bigger one i'd probably only get the mount I needed and just try to fashion a bigger pad myself to fit my needs.

Thanks for the previews! There's a lot of cool stuff coming. I already have the collective and throttle addon in my soon to be shipped MTS order. I'm also interested in the pedal quick change, but I'm super excited about the side pivot. I have so many different things I want / need to mount on MTS (three VIRPIL panels, two or maybe three Stream Decks, two Thrustmaster MFDs, and an X-Touch Mini), and I wasn't sure how I was going to mount all of them. I think a side pivot (or possibly a pair) will work great. I much appreciate your continued videos on all things Monstertech. 🙂

I've been eyeing a whole rig for when i get the space and it looks like Monstertech keeps checking off the boxes with their MTS system. I think the thing im most impressed with was the mount with the shifter and handbrake. I like that it can swing out of the way and is also removable if needed. But what would you recommend for someone who is into sim racing (fanatec DD1, V3 pedals, handbrake, and shifter) but also into HOTAS (fighter pilot configuration), and HOSAS (space sims) and maybe HOSASAT? I do wish there was a way to have the keyboard tray in front of you, when you're playing Star Citizen or doing other work, while keeping the wheel base mounted. Or at least some system like the pedal trays. If i could eliminate my desk, and keep a simrig that still allows me to use a mouse and keyboard for games like World of Warcraft, would definitely jump in on it.

Only just finding your channel after doing some research. Full Monstertech set up is now firmly on my horizon. Question from me (although not sure if you're monitoring 7-month old video comments). What monitor/display would you recommend to fit for Star Citizen? I've currently got an Alienware AW3821DW and have loved owning it. I was waiting for the 38" version of the OLED to come out before changing as I'm still pretty happy with it, but if I'm going down this MTS route, it seems a larger screen would be better than the UW as you sit a fair bit further away. Either way, great videos. Just subscribed.

I have dual sticks on Monstertechs chair and it works really well, however adding extensions didn't work for me the throttle ext on left side is way to far out to be comfortable to use so I swop left stick for throttle when playing DCS the keyboard ext that swings in between the sticks also ends up conflicting with the sticks. In hindsight a rail system for keyboard and mouse would probably be a better solution for me something similar to the MTS equipment.

A question is a simple rig where you have joysticks on pivot away mounts and a keyboard mouse on a sliding tray that pulls back when joysticks are pivoted toward you and slides towards you when joysticks are pivoted away from you? Basically want a quick switch going from ship flying to fps in Star Citizen
@NOOBIFIER13372 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can have everything connected at once if you like. Left, Middle Right Sticks, Throttles, Collectives, Wheels and Shifters all at once. OR you can selectively remove and add things as you need. Its very versatile but the cost goes up quickly as you start to add "Every Option"

My only issue right now is I can't easily switch between HOTAS for DCS and HOSAS for Star Citizen... which means I pretty much never play one for long periods of time. Maybe there can be some kind of design where there is a mount that rotates, on one side is the Throttle, the other side is my left handed stick, and one will always be under the table while the other is out and usable. Then they can have the locking screws removed to rotate 180 degrees to expose the other one without moving anything else. The stick mount would need to be able to fold out of the way from hitting the desk though.

Those pedal plates look way too thin for higher end car pedals like the Huesinkveld Sprints and up, the pressure on the brake pedal can bend 4x4/4x8 cm aluminium profile, I’ve seen it personally, there’s a reason why the official plates and others like Sim Labs sell much, much thicker plates, I got one and it’s a noticeable difference. The Fanatec V3’s might be ok because they already have a built in platform, but the high end pedals that are individual like the Sprints don’t and mounting them directly to this thin plate is likely not good, that thing will definitely flex. Those plates would be fine for rudder pedals, but when you are looking at 65KG and up pushed through the brake pedal you do need something far more beefy.
@senecajones2632 Жыл бұрын
What the Noobifier can't tell you, because MTSIM sends stuff to him for review is that it can literally take months, literal months (2, 3, 4 ,5, 6 or more months) to fulfill an order. Predator is a better experience customer service wise and can ship within a reasonable time frame.

love their products, but the plastic rubber material on the arms is frustrating. my right arm actually broke 3 months into owning it. It doesn't support the weight of my arm without falling down, (it broke from me pushing up off the arm rests to stand up) so I have them set at their lowest setting so they don't fall down on me anymore. I'll eventually just attach some wooden arm rests that are more stable

THIS is exactly what I've been looking to solve for.. the ability to take my P1-X chassis which is setup for racing, and switch it over to a HOTAS / HOSAS setup. I was looking at expensive linear rails + carriages but those are meant to be mounted top down (not on the side) and besides, I'd still have my flight sticks still on the rig but just slid towards the back. This side pivot design is revolutionary and solves for so many situations! Absolutely love it but I don't see the side pivots as an option on their site? Even their HOTAS L/R kits only come with (1) side pivot each and then a smaller piece that gets attached to the removable mount, limiting you to just 1x side mount to attach/ remove. How/ when can we order just the side pivot setup to be able to attach various configuration to each side? Ps: amazingly detailed video.. pls keep the videos and ingenuity coming!
