Handy to have good sounding effects. Nice synth. My kind of synth. 48 voices. 4 parts/layers. Useful sounds for pop production.

Well done. Appreciate showing off the functionality with the American Beauty song. I have an electro 6d and a 3p. Was debating getting a stage 3, but was not sold on the stage synth. Its 2 keyboards, but Im thinking the wave 2 and electro covers all I need for sounds and interfaces.

Nice demo Tony.. Compared to the "Lack" of useful demos and info on the Nord site for a new Synth, which i find rather strange?

Does it has sounds like saxophone, brass, strings, harmonica, flutes, orch hits, marimba, bells and etc like on any other keyboards GM sounds?

Is it possible to choose which parts react to the sustain pedal? I would rather use a sustain pedal than a button to, for example sustain string pad in the right hand while playing a non sustained bass in the left hand or sustained pad on LH and non-sustained mono lead on RH. Bit of a dealbreaker for me without this ability.

Hello Tony sir Very nice review as always. I have one question I love the sound of Nord but I am little confused about the patch change in live. I need to use one touch setting sounds to instantly change is live. I have checked there’s a live mode but I don’t know how many numbers of sounds I can assign on that 5 buttons. At I need store my 40 favourite sounds for instant selection. It would be great if you have any idea, please share. Thank you! 😊

I’m keen on buying this but I’d like to know if it’s possible to add the downloadable sounds from the website without overwriting the factory sounds. I.e. is there a memory upgrade or is there empty space for some of these?

I know software allows 60 seconds per sample, so that would be per key and could do a split with samples available

Hello sir :) I'm looking for a digital piano for practising piano at home and using as a basic midi controller. I was looking at the mp11se, however because I'm clueless I didn't realise it doesn't come with speakers, so i'd need to buy speakers, an amp, the piano itself etc. I now know that it's due to the fact it's a stage piano, which generally don't come with built in speakers due to quality/weight etc. however in terms of action, quality, functions it seems to be pretty close to what I'm looking for... I'm looking for a digital piano with the highest quality action, and realism, that I can use for practice in my room. I'm looking for something that's pretty basic however high quality. My main necessities are that I can use with headphones, which also comes with built in speakers incase my family wants to hear. Also with MIDI capability so I can mess around in logic and make stuff up for a bit of fun. Also am interested in playing around with a VST. Mainly I want the best action, built in speakers, and midi capability. Price range anything within £2000. I wont need it to be transportable etc. as it'll stay in my room. I liked the look of the mp11se, the only problem is that I don't have speakers or an amp and so it's all going to be about £2500 + (all together) at least. I'd like something similar to the MP11se but less features however with built in speakers basically.

I know........... My Korg Triton doesn't sound that much different!
@museonfilm89193 жыл бұрын
My 15 year old Korg Triton TR, sounds pretty much the same. It also has aftertouch, and the ability to load samples. So really, apart from the FM synth, I'm not feeling anything amazing about the Wave 2. I have a Nord Electro 3, and that IS amazing, purely because it isn't trying to do everything, it excels at the basic things it does do!
@arthurcrime3 жыл бұрын
I have a triton extreme and now a wave2, the triton has fantastic piano sounds, and a sequencer neither of which are in the wave. The wave has some fabulous sounds and its ease of use leaves the triton in the dust. I think that they coexist rather well.
