Rather than add to a longer video I thought I would create a bitesize video of me just having a walk and a talk at Rockland St Mary Staithe. Some might find things of interest and others not. 😀

Hi Dave , in all the years I,v been going down the Broads I,v never been able to get a berth at Rockland , so it was nice to see some footage of the place , looks a lovely quite place , and I still have it on my wish list for an" overnight " thanks for all the footage this time , much appreciated, and look forward to the next instalment, as always .

Hi Philip, it must be the time we turn up at the Staithe. We've always got in. It is a great spot for fishing and the New Inn is good.

I would like it if you could put your drone up more so we can see what's around nearby you have shown us a lot more places to go to can't wait for next year keep up brill work. Hi Millie, I wanted to get the drone up but it didn't happen. When we were on the Southern rivers I meant to take it on walks but there always seemed to be a reason not to. Totally forgetting being one. When we got back North the wind had got up making it impossible to fly. I was gutted about not flying and hopefully I can get up in February when it will be quiter. I try to not disturb people with it.

Thanks Dave it's a lovely place there and a long time ago since we were there on the boat we picked up from Thorpe St Andrew, the landlord at The New Inn looked like the famous darts player Bobby George. I saw a chap catch a huge Perch from his back garden on the way there. Take care and all the best. Stevie

don't usually watch the walk videos ; but really enjoyed this one . Waiting to see where you moor at Loddon , love the staithe , but getting on and off boat not easy . Excellent sarnies , you know where lol
