We've had a busy year, lots of Euro trips and tracks. The coaching has been good too, on track and online. Cheers.

Terrifying closing speed on a couple of those guys.
@MikeSpikeEdwards2 жыл бұрын
Yes sometimes the pace and closure rate gets 'exciting' but I'm confident in what I'm doing and always have a plan 'B' just in case.

Can I ask when was it recorded and who organized the day? I was there last July with EYBIS but at Redbull Ring is really hard to find more than a couple of trackday per year..
@MikeSpikeEdwards2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrea, it was last July with EYBIS - driving from the UK I made a single road trip of different circuits to make it easier on the travelling costs. I did Redbull Ring, then to Nurburgring GP, Dijon and Le Mans on the way home.

@@MikeSpikeEdwards ahah small world! I guess the neighbor’s grass is always greener, I would give a leg to being able to ride at Caldwell, Donington, Oulton, Silverstone, Anglesey, Brands Hatch (GP) and so on..

Andrea, you just have to take time to make a small plan. Then with one crossing over the water, you can have a holiday visiting all these tracks you mention. But remember, not all UK tracks have the facilities of the Euro tracks. Some don't have garages, or electricity in the paddock - if you need some help to plan your holiday exploring the tracks in the UK, let me know.

Always have a 'plan B' the run off here is a very handy, feature however it does make you push that bit harder.

Rog, I was there with EYBIS.com but you can always look on www..racing4fun.de for a full and comprehensive listing of Euro days.

are you downshifting first then getting om the brakes hard?
@KeyserSoze54212 жыл бұрын
Pay attention to the light to the right hand side, that comes on when Mike brakes, you’ll see that come on pretty much at the same time as he starts to downshift, the brake indicator on the dash of the Gen 4 has a slight delay which is making you think Mike is downshifting first then braking hard, it’s all one quick succession, on the brakes hard whilst downshifting at the same time.
@MikeSpikeEdwards2 жыл бұрын
No never normally down shift before braking, easiest way to pop your motor. Use the brakes to reduce the speed and adjust the gears to suit.
