It started as Rocky Mountain Arns, in 1970 it was purchased by Sandy Chrisholm and his wife four years later and renamed as North American Manufacturing. In 1977 lineup changes were made and NAM was renamed North American Arms. Sandy Chrisholm is my uncle.

I carry one. The Black Widow and I've changed the BW grip to the Standard NAA grip for the sake of concealability. With the gun (2" bbl) shooting CCI maxi-mag 40gr hp, commonly available at W-M even now, I can with care but not being ridiculous about it, shoot 14 rds (I carry with only 4 loaded because I feel better abt it) inside a 6" target at 25 feet. 5 of those in the 10 ring, 10 inside the 8 ring. I like it, had it for abt 6-7 years, keep it clean and have never had a problem. Monly

Fellow mini revolver owner here. Regarding loading only 4 rounds, I just wanted to make sure you were aware that you can safely load 5 rounds and lower the hammer into the safety notch between cylinders. Starting with an empty cylinder: half cock, pull axis pin, remove cylinder, reload cylinder with 5 rounds, realign cylinder in frame with one of the safety notches under the hammer, reinsert axis pin and check alignment of safety notch and hammer, pull hammer slightly back from half cock while maintaining a grip on the cylinder, pull trigger and slowly lower the hammer into the safety notch (NOT HALF COCK, GO ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO THE NOTCH). The cylinder will be locked in place by the hammer. It cannot rotate and the hammer will not be resting on a live round. I totally understand if you are nervous about doing that so I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything, just pointing it out.

To all the GBguns subs who carry the Grand Power K100, P11, P1: I just picked up a Safariland 576 GLS Pro-Fit Standard-Frame Holster. It says it fits over 100 gun models and names guns with similar dimensions to the GP pistols. My K-100 fit perfectly out of the box and I did not use the shim in the kit or have to adjust the fitment screw to make the gun work with this holster. This holster uses a locking system that grabs the trigger guard and releases by way of lever that is depressed when you acquire a master grip on the gun naturally(middle finger depresses the lever). Really well made and does not damage the finish like some "1 size fits all" holsters. I saw it at Walmart for $38 but may be cheaper online.

I think it's ridiculous when people act like 22lr is a useless round... and 22mag is significantly more powerful than 22lr. I like the NAA Companions, because they get 1200fps with Bullseye powder (1.5 to 2.0gr). The "Super Companion" (22M CB) can handle the 2.0gr just fine... but the cylinder pin on the 22lr version of the companion can get bent if too much powder is loaded... so people stick with around 1.2-1.5gr as far as I know without any problems and they still have significantly more velocity at that load than the 22mag cartridge revolvers have with most cartridge 22Mag.

between where? Those dry wall anchors work great for dry firing revolvers and most semi auto's and they can also be used as action proving, because they can be loaded into a magazine and ejected like a regular snap cap (and you get like 50 of them for $2). There are a few sizes that work... but easy to find if you google it.

I had the basic 22WMR, and pocket carried it while hiking in a Remora holster for a couple years. Yet, on range days, I was unable to really get fair target groupings like with my other handguns. Ended up trading it in with a couple other guns for a pricey heirloom gun, but really miss the Swiss watch type machining and novelty of it. Maybe I just needed a bit more barrel. a 6" one of them would be perfect in a bugout bag for hunting small critters like rabbits and ground hogs ect for food cause you can still have your regular rifle and gear packed and slip one of those in the small little cranny you have left along with a box of bullets. keeps you from using up all your 5.56 you might need to save. and the 6" barrel will give you more than enough velocity to take a rabbit or something at a pretty decent range and it allows you the option of accurately using the .22 cb short or aguilla hummingbirds which are so quiet they sound like a bb gun. I always keep a heritage rough rider in one of the pockets in my bag for this purpose but i think I'll change to one of the NAA 6" models cause they are soo much smaller and the stainless steel is more durable and corrosion resistant.

That 1911 grip is wicked B.A by the way 👍🏽 I just gotta say that .22 mag is still a MAGNUM round, and anyone who laughs at it should try to catch one with their teeth 😏 Small gun's, including Derringers, have a lot of calibers and uses. This'd be a great coyote-chaser, or jackrabbit and chupacabras killer! My favorite Derringer is the American Derringer M-4 Alaskan Survival, chambered in.....ready for this.....45-70!

If you want to see range videos trying reading. "Tabletop" videos give you the close ups of fit and finish. "Shooting Impressions" videos are our range videos.

Waste of time. He doesn't even shoot it. Always....always shoot your GD guns in a gun review video. How hard of a concept is that to grasp?

Always read the title of a video beforee clicking on it, and especially before commenting on it. If you don't understand the title, you likely won't understand the video and will waste your time.

"9mm Energy" Okay, .22 Mag doesn't transfer the energy the same as 9mm. I'm not going to compare "Lethality" because it can't be measured, but Muzzle Energy doesn't tell the whole story. It tells the start of the story, and Terminal Ballistics tells the punchline. Unfortunately, that's too long, and graphic a subject to really cover. "He's got a gun!" That makes you more dangerous than anyone who doesn't. This isn't really, realistically a carry gun. They have other models (Pug/BlackWidow/MiniMaster) that are. If you don't know how to use it, 9mm isn't any better than .22mag.
