I live near Greensboro NC and some of the best memories of my childhood were made on those trails. They are still just as beautiful today as they were then. Thank you for reminding me of those memories. I almost felt like I was there with you because I still recognized a lot of the camera angles that you showed and it allowed me to visually relive the memories in my mind.

It said on a sign that it was a natural cave that the British used during the revolutionary war for cover. It didn’t look made made when we went in it. Maybe it was my filming angles. Lots a better footage and photos on line. See you tomorrow!!! ~RVA~

Hi, RVA. Thank you for sharing. I left comments days ago, but sadly they all disappeared one to another. So I decided to leave a very short comment hoping to stay here. I cannot believe you were in my backyard in NC. NC offers some interesting rock formations, waterfalls, and beautiful wildlife. I am pleased to see you, two enjoy the hike through your lens. Well done.

I love that state park. There aren't any places that you can actually swim. Maybe just sit in the shallow pool except for the lower falls. Thats a bit bigger. I know some state parks won't let you get in the water like Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio, video coming soon for that one. Hope you get to check that area out sometime.

Sometimes the best days are the unexpected ones and that sure was one of the best days. Some great looking lower falls but those stone steps looks a mare going up, dam steep too. Must have been real cool in that cave, especially on a real warm day but looks like you just back to the campsite in time, that storm sounded dam rough, what a racket! It sure cleared the air and made things nice and crispy clear on the following day, the views you got were stunning! Cheers Alan

Amen to unexpected fabulousness! I love it when things work out for the better like on this trip. I couldn't believe the hail, that was crazy.
