If you think they are the same, try visiting Pyongyang and then Moscow. You will have a great time in Moscow with freedom to do what you want. Definitely not in N Korea. The US has become a fascist/socialist country. It is still one of the freest countries but is headed in the wrong direction. I think that it will soon not be much freer that Russia.

"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." - Napoleon

... Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) Most people today do not know what a Napoleon even is. (pretty much me included) WW1. 1914 to 1918 WW2. 1939 to 1945 Cold war. 1948 The big bang. 1945 When did we have enough of them to destroy the world? I think 1969 is a good year. Nice. So... Napoleon lived and made that quote 200 years, more or less at this point ago. The quote is probably over 80 years out of date. Napoleon was not a foot soldier. Napoleon was a leader at the tables. Or what? On horse back. You do not let the enemy make a mistake anymore. At least you can not say, never, about it since 1945. Remember. Internet was more or less invented.1983. In 40 years time much has changed. Napoleon can be right, and wrong today. When it comes to this matter at least.

I suspect that Kim did that, in part, to give his military some experience in modern warfare since they haven’t been in combat since the 1950’s. I don’t expect too many of the frontline Korean troops to survive. I think the DPRK are looking for training and intelligence on how the modern battlefield looks. It also gives the DPRK an opportunity to be in a position where they can accuse the USA of attacking them so they can justify their aggression toward the U.S.

None of the NK troops will ever return to North Korea alive. Even the barbaric standards of poor Russians without running water or toilets are still living in luxury compared to the NK soldiers and the NK troops are bound to see Russians using cell phones, friggin Sci Fi as far as NK goes. Then, they'll see Ukrainians in areas Russia occupies. So, seeing 2 relatively poor countries having what looks like luxury compared to NK, it's going to sent the North Korean brainwashing.

You need to study US/UN vs China prior to the Korean war. The US/UN were more worried about Russia sending troops! Russia did send aircraft and pilots and MiG 15s stationed in China. But, China sent over 100k troops into Korea stunning the US/UN leadership. China can't send troops in this situation. However N Korea can. Don't think for a minute that Russia, N Korea and China weren't in on it from the start just like they were in the Korean War.

China 🇨🇳 has been a money-printing machine on overdrive. During the years 1990-2021, the US printed 6.5 time more money while China printed 147 times. - It has printed more money than the US and Japan combined, while it's economy is only half of them. - Current Chinese debt-to-gdp is already *highest in the world, at 300%,* according to Bloomberg. - With stimulus and measures, China's debt will be at 400% to 500% of its GDP in the next decade, according to Reuters.

Stalin set up dozens of factories for older shell calibers in North Korea post WW2 to help the USSR in case of a war. With Russia running out of old shells, new ones were made in North Korea, to the tune of almost 25 million shells in 18 months. After that, NK wanted to train troops and partner up

Probably a bit higher tbh. Territory that’s been Russian land in some capacity for multiple centuries on along a call to save the motherland vs invading another country for the supposed safe of helping them but to no benefit to Russia (officially). Defensive wars for maintaining territorial integrity tend to give higher moral than offensive ones that give no direct benefit.
