North Sea good sailing gale hardvaer with RS 10 Christiania

The Colin Archer RS 10 Christiania in good sailing gale in southern North Sea in Desember 2012. On the way from Gibraltar to Oslo. After waiting through a snowstorm in Ijmuiden port through the night, Aslaug - the ship meterologist, said the conditions should be well worth exploring just after. So even though our instincts protested in the early morning (heavy snow and wind) we prepearad and went to sea as soon as the wind started calming. It became a beatiful sailing day with SE fantastic wind and conditions, northbond along the duch coast.

RS 10 «Christiania» is the 10. Colin Acher sea rescue ship.( RS is Norweegen for Sea Rescue) She is a bit over 14m LOH. Don`t know LOW. Built by the C.A drawings, but not by C.A. Built in Christiania.-today Oslo,-middle 1890
