The owner was not joking about his grandpa sending him a message through his dream. It’s called 托梦. I find it disrespectful to call someone “just a KZbin chef” when the person they’re describing is a real chef and a real restaurant owner. Even if someone is a KZbin chef, you don’t have to put the word “just” in there. He does not deserve to eat those delicious dumplings.

It's just hand-made dumpling that took time, and result of that is it looks very appealing. I don't get what's special, it's like a marketing scheme that targets white consumers. it's a set of 6 dumpling priced at range of $7-$10. A frozen bag of nice dumpling at H-Mart is under $10. In places like NYC, there are plenty of local Chinese shops in Brooklyn/Flushing where it's hand-made, probably at 1/2 of that price but doesn't have the nice look. In some rare find, you might be able to locate some that are like 4 pieces per $1. It's great if you can afford nice looking dumplings. If you're complaining about inflation, and you're not sure if you can retire well before 65, then you're just making a terrible financial decision.

Than go to chinese place. China was colony of Jin Empire( Qing empire founded by Jurchen/Joseon people) of Korean Kim family for 300 years from 1600s to 1900s. Their is no chinese culture except in fake communist chinese history book. Communist chinese burned alot of history books. Ford Model T automobile is not modern German BMW.

Chinese copies would be low quality and taste different. Chinese car verses German premium cars. 3rd world verses 1st world.

We all know Korea did not even grow wheat. The only place in east Asia where wheat is cultivated as staple crop is northern china, the same place where there is a wheat culture and where noodles, baozi and Jiaozi/dumplings originated from. Koreans just call it a different name and now it’s their cultural heritage! It’s ok if they acknowledge the origin since food are supposed to be shared but most of the time they don’t
@dhmz77711 күн бұрын
@@kevinkevinkevin1909 Chinese cars made by BYD and Xiaomi are superior to low quality German crap like BMW and Mercedes. Calling it Chinese copies clearly demonstrates your stupidity given the fact that Koreans got this food from Han Chinese. Koreans call this food Mandu, which is a Han Chinese word.

kinda stingy, only 6 pieces per order?
@UmmYeahOkАй бұрын
How so? Typically, no matter where you go, a single order of dumplings is exactly 6. I don’t know if that’s like a magic number or something, but I don’t think I’ve ever had an order be anything but six. Even the ones you get at the grocery store are six. If it’s just you, six should be a full meal. If you don’t think that’s enough food, then there may be something metabolically wrong with you (no offense). Now then, sometimes, people will order dumplings as an appetizer. When this is done, it’s usually split among the group. 2 people get three, 3 people get 2. Two dumplings with a meal is a pretty ok appetizer.
