I know I'm a year late to the conversation, but I had to say this. I have been a FFL/ class 3 firearms dealer here in th USA for 14 years. I have, and had my hands one real smg's imi export, Non Export (IDF use) and foreign made copies. This is the best replica I have ever seen. I was so impressed, I want to order one for my shop, as a wall hanger. Replace some of the parts with originals. Very very impressive cosmetically, both the German and IDF versions

Very impressive Real gun is banned in Taiwan so props to NE for getting it right We had fragile Japanese guns and very crap Chinese guns for airsoft now decades later we get this kind of gun from a tiny new company it's definitely the result of labor of love of these guys there's no way the number of sales can justify development and manufacturing cost of this thing

Great video, but I don't understand why people always say there are no adverse affects from reducing the inner diameter of the valve to reduce FPS. Every gun I've done this on has noticeably worse gas efficiency than before. They simply don't like having a smaller hole. It works wonders at reducing the FPS but the efficiency on full auto sucks.

Also considering the finish … The parkerized finish on the real steel not only offers corrosion protection it also offers a non-reflective surface and also a certain level of night camouflage … Although this may sound counter productive black does not offer the best ‘night camo’ .. night time on our planet is not pure black or for another term void of light, this is actually why the British SAS used indigo assault wear when training for night assaults similar to the Iranian embassy siege of 1980 .. Pure black in a dimly lit area can stick out just as much as the wrong camo during the day, just think of it like a negative photo in a sort of sense, the indigo doesn’t have a blatant contrast difference to the ambient light that the black would … Not sure if the IDF knew this when finishing their Uzi’s but giving that the finish was non-reflective and not pure black was an advantage .. adding oil to the surface to give longevity to the corrosion protective parkerizing will darken the finish but once again won’t turn it pure black … Therefore in my opinion this finish is BANG ON!!! 👊🏻👊🏻

Now we need a proper micro uzo in airsoft. Inknow a gbb micro uzi can be done because ot has been done a long time ago with the long defunct micro uzi. They are now collectirs items ans have no upgrade parts. You cant run them on green has because it was made by maruzen. If your gbb pistol was made by tokyo marui, maruzen, or marushin, dont use green gas because you will break it. Why else do you think most tm's have metal uppers as the first upgrade.

"You're not carrying it as a side arm" me who has one clipped to the helmet clip in the right armpit of my assault vest "Huh....." I'm just teasing, just been a little injoke in our team that i tend to use a comical sidearm. got a m11 with a leather chest holster, a p90 with a kydex holster you slot the front of it into, and it locks around the handstop at the front when its on its sling, and a drop leg holster for a super shorty or a hawshan double barrel. (not all at the same time, that would be a little too silly) as the site rule for the larpy event is "if you want to use a non standard weapon as a side arm (aka not a standard pistol) you must have a holster for it" and that's mostly to stop people slinging a dozen rifles and claiming them to be side arms as they're covered under different rules for the post apocalypse event than primary weapons are. that and SMG/PDW in the place of a pistol (or other suitably large hand cannons) does fit our team of raiders quite well. and sometimes its nice to have something other than the cut down double barrels we used to use as team sidearms (utterly impractical sidearm choice, but fit the theme quite well with the mad max nod and all)

The gun at 1:44 that you are mistaking for a Sa 23/25 is actually a Kommando/LDP, first manufactured in 1975. Like the Uzi it is a Sa 23 derivative, but borrows many of the design changes (and magazines) implemented in the Uzi.

The dry fire switch. Does that need to be pushed forward or backward from the lip in order to load? Seems like a pain to load. Am I missing something?
@ExplosiveEnterprises2 жыл бұрын
If you aren't trying to dry fire, there's no need to touch it. All it does is prevent the follower from coming up high enough to block the nozzle. The magazine can be loaded equally easily whether it is engaged or disengaged.

Any solution for loading the version 2 magazines? Unsurprisingly, Comrade Quiche's adapter doesn't work, but the lips are still too wide for the standard gbb speedloader heads.

@Explosive Enterprises weird then, maybe it's the speedloader I'm using? It's simply not loading smoothly at all and I end up with BBs jamming the adapter. I'm not sure what would be causing it but thanks regardless!

That is NOT a VSR barrel. VSR and pistol barrels have a different retainer cut. A true VSR spec barrel will not fit!!!! This is a pistol cut barrel and the buckings are universal.
@ExplosiveEnterprises2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, it is more complex than pistol vs VSR- Marui pistols actually use VSR-cut barrels, many brands of GBB rifles use what you call pistol-cut barrels (we've seen it referred to as 'GBB-spec'), and there are multiple other cut types used on GBBs also derived from the VSR baseline. So, when we said that it is a VSR-spec barrel, we just meant that it is a typical unbridged design that takes VSR buckings; you are 100% correct that compared to original VSR barrels it has an extra set of cutouts. If you want to swap it, you will need to either verify that whatever aftermarket barrel you are considering using has the extra set of cuts, add cuts yourself as necessary, or remove the additional indexing lugs from the hop unit. We apologize for the confusion, and will clarify in our intended follow-up video.
@alextatkin10262 жыл бұрын
@@ExplosiveEnterprises Go take apart some tm pistols, and then a vsr and compare the cuts. The vsr cut is about 1mm closer to the window of the barrel. I have several TMs here, just took the barrel out of a m&p and a 1911, and I have a fnx and a hk45 taken apart here. All have pistol cut with the notch 1mm forward from the grove for the front of bucking. Im not talking about the extra cutouts at all. The cut position is different between vsr and pistol. Prove me wrong. im literally looking at this stuff in front of me. hands on.
@ExplosiveEnterprises2 жыл бұрын
@@alextatkin1026 I think we might be talking past each other here. You are correct, the position of the cut is very slightly different between some of TM's pistol barrels and VSR barrels (though not universally- take a look at a Mk23 barrel). In some guns, this means it is necessary to file the cutout to swap barrels, but because neither requires any additional set of cutouts, you can still fit a VSR barrel in a 1911 with minimal modification and vice versa. You can not, however, drop a TM 1911 barrel in the Northeast Uzi, as it lacks the additional forward set of cuts altogether. Again, the point is that there is significant variation in cut styles (and not just 'VSR' versus 'pistol'), but the use of an unbridged barrel and VSR bucking is the common thread between them.
@alextatkin10262 жыл бұрын
@@ExplosiveEnterprises Also take a look at the g26, also uses true vsr cut. Im agreeing w you. But generally, most of them use the pistol cut. And I have yet to work on a gbbr that uses true vsr spec. And yup, been there done that with modifying the notch to fit. Had to do it to a pdi barrel to fit into a kjw glock build many years ago. Ill argue that the second set of retainer notches are unnecessary in virtually all setups. Should be shimming your barrel to the unit anyways. Id get rid of them, file flush, opens the door to so many more inner barrel options. I feel you but my whole point is you telling people this takes a vsr barrel could possibly mislead. Its reasonable to think some end users will remove the forward notches, but then a vsr barrel wont sit right without modification. So just could save one of your viewers from unnecessary headache by simply referring to the barrel correctly as a pistol or gbb cut barrel.
@ExplosiveEnterprises2 жыл бұрын
@@alextatkin1026 That's reasonable. We'll add a note to the description, and clarify further when we do a follow-up, hopefully once the new feed lips arrive and we have a chance to test them out.
