Many thanks from the USA for making this tutorial I've been trying to learn and integrate this dance style with my House dancing, ever since I saw those soul dance videos by Levanna McLean a.k.a. "Northern Soul Girl".

I’ve only just got into Northern Soul for the past two years thanks for my parents and I love it. Even though I can only do the basics like these i learnt from my parents and friends that I met along the way at northern soul nights. For any beginners this is really good for you to do mate. These are very helpful, I’m trying to do the cross over feet moves currently.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Time to dance again after thirty years working , bringing up the kids and being generally too busy for 'me time'. I still have the enthusiasm, but sadly the moves are rusty - and don't think I'll be doing the acrobatics bit any more, but just moving to the music across the kitchen floor in my socks is joy. Next stop the dance floor - yay!

Although ppl have said it's like dancing on Ice, if you put talcum powder down first it not only makes it faster it makes it easier, allows you to glide. KTF

Love the tutorial, thank you! One request, and maybe I'm just a knucklehead, but the videos are filmed in front of the dancer. Can you possibly show us more of the steps filmed behind the instructor? I get all tripped up- wait, that's his left foot so that makes it my right? Aw, hell!! Help! 😜

know1important OK, you mean I can delegate a dance troupe to listen to our music und to watch some Northern-Soul dance tutorials and they can make it? They wouldn't refuse, because it is not easy (impossible??) to slide on the asphalt?
