The reason scorpion in the back is bad, is because if the scorpion has to attack it pretty much always trades 1 for 1. If it's your last animal, you either never use it, or you draw at best. Also, the reason you don't see token builds anymore is because horse and turkey don't exist in pack 2. So tokens are a lot weaker.

@@hevoo It's only the 80's that really do that in a cool set up. 99 becomes Quatre-vingts-dix-neuf (or 4 20 19) and 70 is Soixante-dix (or, 60 10). It's not a bad system I feel but just wish there was a bit more consistency to it :p

@@FrostyFyre my line up was Camel (garlic armor), Peacock(garlic armor),Pufferfish (garlic armor), Monkey, Penguin. I had them all at lvl 2 at least and constantly buffing the camel and when the camel got hit be buffed the peacock. I just had the pufferfish as back up in case the first two failed. I had one round where the enemies puffer hit my puffer who hit his puffer who hit mine and mine killed his XD. But the best advice is what NL tries to do. Win as much in the early game cause the mid game you can lose really quickly if you finally get going and are on your last life.

Honestly most animals do when you get them early, unless they are obviously not good like a snail with no losses. There has already been a fair amount of balancing done on the game, the animals are in the tiers they are in for a reason, and generally I don't think it's good to think of oneself as smarter than the data that the devs have on the game.

By having a scorpion in the back you put yourself in a lose/draw situation. Virtually every unit in the game can one shot the scorpion. In the back the scorpion is your last unit so by getting one shot you draw if they have one unit left, lose if they have more than one unit left. By having it in the front you have a chance of one shotting their win condition, leaving your win condition available to clean up shop.

I don't think so, most of the good summoning animals are not in the p2w pack. The p2w pack is mostly based around shop manipulation. They've also changed it so that you only see opponents using the same pack as you, which I think is unfortunate for matchup variety. I would like to know which pack they think is stronger because I've seen conflicting opinions.

First game won’t sell beetle for T-Rex when beetle is getting him +2/+2 on one unit but T-Rex will do the same for 4 units. Also freezes garlic for Bison when he passed on Melon armor like 3 times. If he had melon armor on Bison he would have won or drawn the last 4 games instead of having all draws and losses
