NL had a great quote in this one, the one in which he complained that "no matter how much trash you add, you always draw strikes and defends" ...and that's so amazing, like...why doesn't he realize that you make your deck better by removing strikes and defends??? :D Other than that, ha actually wasn't *that* bad today. Some common missplays, his constant mismanagement of dmg dealt to Shelled Parasite, but he also had some good plays...if only he removed...

RMA is when you send a product in to the manufacturer for them to inspect/fix. It stands for return merchandise authorization and is most frequently used in conjunction with computer parts. I.e. if your graphics card is malfunctioning, you can request for it to be RMA'd.

@@jpryan90 I actually liked to have a some claws in my decks...provided I removed strikes of course. Like, if you have draw, and your deck isn't too thick, it's nice to see them show up from time to time, they are 0 cost, so you can always play them, and even if you don't focus on them, they tend to scale pretty fast. Fusion + Coolheaded can give you a lot of energy and draw, can even get you to shuffle over your entire deck in a single turn, and there are other options as well. Defect is pretty good for energy and draw.

I woulda taken Inserter over Sozu. There are lots of ways to get extra energy, but extra orb slots are hard to come by. Taking Sozu was perfectly valid as well though.

Strength pot wouldn't have saved him in the final fight (on the final turn at least). Bites were doing 8. With str pot they deal 10. With weaken they're down to 7. Max damage he could've done was (3*7) + 4 = 25 leaving the chosen on 3HP. The biggest crime of this episode was upgrading DUALCAST over DEFRAG and ignoring CHILL

I really don't know what to say about that first run, really confused my mind. "Dark orbs are not that well respected" "Dark orb is good in act one" "Dark orbs are good early on" Literally, everyone I know who plays slay the spire thinks that Dark Orbs are one of the best orbs in the game (First one being frost orb), I think it's just you, you don't play them that often so you think they are bad. But believe me, 1 dark orb, multicast, and a few turns can win your run really easily. NL: If it looks like we are gonna die, we should just go wild. I think that's the only thing NL learned about that post with the many pieces of advice to win A20 34:50 You could've won that fight with the strength potion btw.

I had it on a run the other day, but I'm only on A13. Would rather have warped tongs for sure, super common and way more flexible. It's not bad for A1-13, especially if you have bites/apparitions, but it can be clunky.

I buy it occasionally on A20 if my decc is thicc and un-upgraded at the end of the second floor or early in the third. Those fights when you draw it turn 1 just go so much more smoothly.

I had it recently and got the relic that puts a skill of your choice in the first turn. Very VERY nice, saved a lot of trouble upgrading and let me dig relics with the shovel or just heal when necessary.

I like it, and think it's very useful. Especially if you can get it early on. Upgraded decks perform a LOT better, also it lets you use stuff like Fusion hammer, Shovel, Peace pipe, Girya and Searing Blow without suffering for it. Also lets you rest more if you need it. It may suck if you don't upgrade it or have Lightning in a bottle, but that part is situational. All in all, if I can have it, and don't have a bunch of eggs, I want it.

Why not just get cheat engine and tweak every aspect of the game you don't like. I'm not against cheating, but I find these "almost cheating" strats cowardice. Just do the cheat already.
