Weirdly enough, this is a first loss to a20 in a looong time...usually he never gets to the part that makes it a20, and loses on a19! :D I'm not a fan of Snecko, especially when NL takes it, but he did play a lot better than usual, he wasn't too fast, he tried some new cards...and a 1h+ video length, good day!

Lol. Haven't watched this series in quite a while, but it's now 541, and he finally says. "You what I did learn on this run though. Hemokinesis is not to be disrespected. Actually saved me way more HP than it lost me I think." For some reason egg boy I don't think you did learn that. I'm actually starting to believe there's something either seriously wrong with your memory in some way. It's like it's hyper good for trivia, names, dates etc, but when it comes to learning lessons you've got to have it happen at the very least 15 times before you actually realize what's going on, and commit it to memory. Similar thing with the No! trinket in Issac. It's either that, or you're doing it on purpose to make people like me comment on it knowing damn well you won't even read this. Life sure is weird. I find it hilarious that he got way farther than he has in a long time with a strategy that essentially lets RNG determine what cards you can/cannot play each turn (namely Snecko, Mayhem and Infernal blade). I have to say that deck had no business of getting as far as it did, he got incredibly lucky a number of times. I saw at least 5 fights where he would have died almost guaranteed without drawing exceptionally well - which he did repeatedly until the very last boss. He did play better towards the end, but it was pretty bad at the beginning - especially the early deckbuilding.

There's a case for adding another one, just so you can have a better chance of playing it as early as possible, but the other effectively becomes a curse then. Snecko might continualy make the other cost 2-3 EN, making it a dead draw. Debatable if it was the right choice to skip it

I don't think so. I've had decks where I ended up with energy relics and "inbetween" stuff like Ice Cream and the Lantern, and I ended up with so much energy that Seeing Red was just taking up space in my deck (until I drew it). That being said, MOST of the time, it's helpful, especially if you've got expensive cards and/or exhaust synergies.

Should have stalled until exhume reaper at the end. Every hp counts x.x. Also NL PLEASE stop passing your turn with open energy and blocks with the enemy attacking you and taking free damage for no reason all the time. You have to do it a few times at least every episode. A19 is the same as A20, the only difference is that you fight two bosses at the end. NL rarely even gets to the third act, so effectively he's playing on A19 already.

NL keeps scrounging around for synergies on the first floor. You just need to be adding decent damage cards asap. Take a clash, take a pommel, take a twin strike take and anger. Stop skipping OK cards because they "dont really fit" when you havent even reached the first boss yet.
