@@macuss87 If placing the L also burns the overhang then it's ok. If you get lines back to back then it's ok. NL just creates gaps and covers it unnecessarily like 20 times before he manages to dig himself out. It doesn't help when he has like 3 options and he chooses the one that creates a gap. Though at this point I'm not sure he even knows you can spin L blocks into place. He is also T spin blind so who knows. I personally can't understand how the T spin is that hard, but maybe it doesn't come as natural to everyone? He should still train to see it because it's cramping his game.

ACTIONABLE ADVICE: when ever you are about to resort to compromise meta, instead of doing it right away when you're in the slower phases, you should look at your entire queue, there were a few times where if you just waited for the long piece that was 3rd in line you would have been fine but you sabotaged your chance at an opportune send.

when your looking for a t spin opportunity you want to have what looks like an indent of an upside down T and then a over hang of one block to one side of the T, the reason why the thing you did was not a t spin was because the over hang was 2 blocks up instead of right on top of where the T piece needed to go

Well, if you want to play fast, having the fastest controller probably won't help as much as movement finesse. Tetris-specific "finesse" is entirely about the ideal inputs per piece for any given placement. There's entire videos about practicing finesse.
