This walk just gets better Nick, some lovely features there with the Lime Stone, fantastic how it erodes. You certainly had a fine day to show this section off. All the old mines, just go's to show how busy this area would of been in it's hey day..still, good to see mother nature re claiming it. Great stuff Nick looking forward to more.

Lovely day to be out Nick and what a great walk too through some beautiful scenery. Always a bonus when the steppy stones are dry too . Thanks for sharing. Mick.

What an absolutely stunning day you had and the same goes for the walk, it looked brilliant. I was in Grasmere with The Fat Boys last Saturday and the weather was the same - like a summers day, in fact, better then a summers day from last summer. Been to Stanhope/Frosterley/Weardale may times and I find it undervalued and under hiked. It's a great place to hike and deserted when compared to the lakes. Great hike and a great watch! Cheers Alan
