NORTHSEAKAYAK - Training Day 2020 Edition WKKH

Yet another Training Day, this time with the great crew from WKKH (Willebroekse Kajak Klub Hazewinkel). The goal of our Training Day concept we invented years ago remains the same! Gather a motivated crew, share knowledge and experience regarding the basics of safety within our sport! We chose Nieuwpoort harbour to play and train, it’s a safe environment and it has a lot of options. It’s a day packed full of technique, practical skills, and fun. Want to join us?

Hey Dimitri, I’ve watched a couple of your videos where you paddled a long distance (at least a long distance for me). Have you ever tried putting a sail on your kayak to help on longer paddles? Cheers from Florida and keep up the videos!

Hi Ryan, Yes, it came to mind of adding a specific sea kayak sail years ago. The idea just stayed an idea because we had the idiotic thought that we wanted to cover distances on manpower alone, with no help from the wind. 😄 But, don't hold back, a lot of people are finding their way to sea kayak sailing and we believe it is great fun!! All the best!!😊💪💦

Hi! We start up this Training Day concept on special request or if we have enough interest here in Belgium (and mostly in the harbor). If we go to other countries, we mostly start up the Sea Kayak Training Camp. This is a 5 days training, which we anually do in Croatia (see our videos) and that we also do in other countries on special demand (we did one in Poland a few years ago). Just looked up you area, looks great! But the travel is too long for just one day of training. However, we are open for suggestions and we will try to help you any way we can within our possibilities. You can also join us on the anual SKTC in Croatia ( spiritofkorkyra.com/sea-kayak-training-camp/ ). Hope to hear from you! Have a good weekend!
