if people want to go to norway, oslo is the last place you should go. West coast, south coast and north is the place to go
@SebHaarfagre
@SebHaarfagre 4 жыл бұрын
Not the last. It all depends on what you want to see and experience lol. There's plenty of uninteresting places in those extremely general areas you mentioned as well... Interested people can visit UT or outt (dot no and dot com respectively) for starters, or Google for some forums on the topic. Edit: "as well"? Oslo can be as interesting as you like, TONS of fun and good times to be had, just need a plan or know some locals that have lived in the city centre for 5y+ or otherwise know the city and beyond)

I have this theory that when Hollywood celebs visit Norway, and they want to be left alone from the press... They can just yell "I LOVE NORWAY" and the reporters will be like "That's it, that's our headline!". Oslo doesn’t really represent the rest of Norway very well tho. Sure you can WALK on the mountains in the winter in the southern parts (south of Trondheim), but in the northern parts you need some kind of ski. This year the southern parts had almost no snow, while in Tromsø we were about to set a new snow record. Norway is such a long country it’s very different nature-vise.
@Helperbot-2000

@@auroraa474 really? I've been shopping in Tromsø at daytime when most Norwegians are at work. I see a lot of Muslims in Tromsø. Way more muslims than in ivalo and rovaniemi. If you wanna have a GREAT vacation in Norway, I would recommend to rent an RV and drive up and down the coast. There's allot of beautiful mountains and fjords on the coast. There's somthing special about waking up to a beautiful view with absolute silence, only you and the nature.

Seeing Oslo and think you have "seen Norway" is like seeing a shotingstart and think you have seen all of space =) Oslo is the least "beautiful place in Norway" I would say, big city life, go 1 hour out of Oslo and in to the country and EVERYTHING changes to the better quick =) Start west in Bergen and move your way North or south/east, OR start North and move your way west/east og east/south =) Never start In Oslo, that is the tourist trap =) Pick a fjord and work your way out from there =)

Except all of the celebs in this video have interest in Norway and like to talk about it. Many people even remember her for being a Norwegian reporter. Sure not all celebrities care the grown ups cast didn't seem to care to much but a lot of people have an interest in Norway and the world in general and love to talk about it. This is why she constantly gets asked by managers to do an interview she gets personally requested by celebrities who remember her as a nice interviewer instead of just the mass media that ask the same questions over and over she makes it more into a conversation. This is how a small private interviewer gets wide requests from multiple celebrities every single year for an interview whereas most media channels have to go to the celebrities, in her case the celebrities go to her.

The reason why they are so great, is because they are secular. Gods are dismissed and don't get in the way in creating rational, intelligent laws. The worst countries in the world have religion at the cores - especially Islamic ones. This is why I worry when I see the influx of so many muslims wanting to now live in Europe and other western countries and leave the backward middle east. It scares the hell out of me.
