? Automatic transmission more than likely. Also the tech for disabled drivers has been around for a long time. Bigger question is how does he secure the load on various trailers? Still do-able but some loads and trailers especially any chained loads would be problematic. Even if he only hauls box or reefer trailers load securements could be a problem without a loading dock to access rear or adjust reefer settings. Good on him though, all the respect due.

My dad is a trucker and I have been on the road with him and Ik how hard it is to be a trucker and it must be even harder to be disabled (ps I mean that in the nicest and respectful way possible) and a trucker having to do it with ur arms and hands praise be to you 😁🙌🙌🙌

Everything is buttons or grips, all hand controlled, plus that is the only can get in the truck(passenger side) for him. Just a thought??? Big enough handicap spots, never would find any, just have to make your own, and hope the cops have a sense of humor!!!

I am having an adapted vehicle done so I can carry on with my jobs and life. It is well worth it as then you're self-esteem is kept in tact. Work is worthwhile and good for rhe soul.
