What I learned from the Chaos of my Arctic Extreme Winter. Blizzard, Snow Storm Winter Camping & Cold Temperatures. Full Time Van Life living. Camper Van in Polar Vortex Snow Storm. Camping in a van in the Snow in the Winter. I go to the extreme north as far as you can go, and experience a ton of massive storms, I get trapped and stuck and end up in the worst snow storm I have ever driven in. Should be lots of fun and I learned a lot that I share with you in this epic movie.

This is my complete February of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. I Started in January & lived & survived through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from January to April, with snow storms, massive blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
I show you what I learned from this February and the past extreme winter in the van, and also want you for your opinion and advice. I heard winter van life was supposed to arrive early this year!

The weather forecast said 41 m/s, 92 mph and the wind and snow was howling. It was a whiteout. At the end of the day I had an interesting stormy view while having my dinner & coffee.

The footage of the North Cape was beautiful to see in winter. I'm glad the weather cooperated with you to make this journey. You had another video of just drone footage going to the same area but it looked like you were prevented from getting all the way there by a vehicle blocking the road or maybe you stopped using the drone. Impressed by the black-white huge rough rock-sceneries. But, contrast. I love most the pastel-coloured horizons of sunrise and sunset which join each other. Lyngen Alps so beautiful ! Remarkable sayings of yours : "the gold of the north" (raindeer), and "Arctic at its best" (snowstorms and blizzard). You are right ! - Remember quite well the thunder- and rainstorm in your red tent, so fearful moments (of course I saw them, I saw (quasi) all your videos for 3 and a half year now ! 😆 😂 🌲 ❄ isn't it ?) @NorwegianXplorer We're really going to do this sometime, Jarl. It is more that we are now thinking about practical stuff such as winter equipment and what we are going to do with the water (how much do we take with us in jerry cans) and what to do with the toilet. Do we put antifreeze in it or is it perhaps easier to switch to a compost toilet so that there is less chance of freezing? At least you have organic and less waste. We also think about the window covering. And what do we do at the back doors? What are the best options, things like that, we're thinking about that now. And can the discharge stations be used in winter? Just making the plans gives us excitement already!

@@MarinkaKlaver The toilet is the least problem, you can find open waste stations in my arctic winter tour maps, I will add more of them as I go this winter. I usually buy my drinking water and keep it in the fridge, so my 10L can is mostly for coffee. I bought a Hindermann screen for my back door, I am sure you have access to them, I use velcro to fasten them. Hope this helps a bit in the planning.
