I recall the many hours my daughters and I spent in the company of their BEAITIFUL music . Singing along was our constant lift for the day for YEARS. The lyrics were always a lesson in life to hear and truly admire. Thank you!

Musicians seem to be more sensitive than other people. Look at Gerry Rafferty and others who either overdosed, drank too much or were severely depressed in spite of their fame and success. Money doesn't buy happiness!

She was depressed her whole life, starting with being abused by a family member as a child. I met Wy many, many times and fortunate enough to meet Naomi twice, once on their farewell tour and again in Nashville for a fan club get together. Both amazing women. Yes they had many ups and downs, but loved each other. Wy even said, she didn’t know where to start having a tour, because her mom did all the planning. Yes this has to be AI, can’t even pronounce Wynonna right and Ashley didn’t perform on stage with them lol. She may have made a couple of appearances, but NEVER performed with them. Read her book, it’s tells so much!! RIP Naomi and well wishes for Wy and Ashley!!! They all 3 had/have battles with depression. Mental illness is so real!

My late mom-in-law had bipolar. I cannot imagine also having PTSD and other issues such as Hep C. I'm trying to deal with abandonment by siblings but cannot fathom how a woman could cope with two significant others leaving her to raise two daughters alone! Yet she tried to help others and now Wynona and Ashley are raising awareness about mental health and suicide. Good for all three of these ladies. I am sure Naomi is singing in heaven with the angels. Her pain and nightmares are over, May God bless her and let her RIP.

It's so important for people with mental illness to get the help they need. I'm sure the family feels guilty they couldn't prevent this. Guns suck because you can make a horrible decision and there's no going back. So sad she couldn't cope anymore especially since it was the day before she was to be honored! Maybe she didn't love herself; my mom had that issue. I'll pray for her and the family. I hope this helps others in similar situations. I've struggled with depression and anxiety my whole life but I take the medicine. I'm grateful to God there's help available. In the old days, they'd lock people up in an asylum.

My favorite memories are “Love Can Build aBridge”. My daughter and I watched this video over and over. The words are real. My angel is in heaven now and I can hear with her beautiful voice today. My daughter is singing with the Heavenly Angels. The last Judd video brings back such bittersweet memories. Mama Judd and I shared MH mine since I was 14, and I battle with with the “bridge” often. Mental Health is a different battle not on a battle field but in one’s heart and soul. I pray for the daughter’s and pray mama Judd is at peace. Blessings

What a life! All lived in public view. Amazing that she was able to transcend her obstacles, raise her children, and yet achieve fame, fortune & respect for her accomplishments, all while battling a viral disease & being bi polar. What an amazing woman! The exact nature of how she left this sphere of existence should not be important at all. How could her choice of an exit have any effect on any of the wonderful achievements she achieved in her lifetime? She raised secure, confident, talented, daughters, who they themselves have achieved fame and success in different areas. Diana, a lesser person would’ve buckled under the pressures yet you persevered. It is an amazing life and I can’t wait to see who they cast to play you in the bio pic that is sure to follow. I just hope that they do you justice.

@@katjay3125 Very well said. This lady was in a towering rage; something or someone made her mad as hell; hence the reason she blew her brains out. Most people with her money would have taken an overdose of narcotics and just go to sleep quietly; they would not blow their brains out. She is in hell. Also, if she knew Jesus, she would under no circumstance kill herself. I hate to say this, but to make it big in this world; you have to bow down to the god of this world. He does no favors for those who believe in Jesus and love him with their whole heart.

Naomi was a beautiful lady. I just hope she really realized the impact she made on people. Only GOD knows why our lives end the way they do. God puts people in this world for a reason. It is not meant for us to question why. GOD has his reasons. I know we have a purpose, i do know as hard as some of the days get, we can we will get through it . Because jesus has us always in the palm of his hand.the songs that she put out sent a message to all of us , at the same time each of us got a different message out of those songs. Each song that was sung, each person got a different meaning from it than the other person that heard that same song. But in the music that was written an sung by both of the judds were touching the hearts of all who heard them. She did make a difference with all her music, i liked them all , but especially liked The song Love can build a bridge . It gos on to say between your heart an mine. Also the grandpa song ,Grandpa tell me bout the good old days. They both were magnificent singers. An Naomi will be missed a lot but never forgotten. Sending much love to her daughters , an her Widower husband Larry Strickland. Peace to you an much love always. ❤❤❤😊😊😊

I'm a fan of the family enjoy the music, and movie's so much talent. But it touches me that they came out with the News . Our country does have health problems and they won't get better if we deny them. I have had depression for many years and my family knows about it they got me a ESA a dog 🐕 he was my new child my pal ,and partner. You know when the kids are grown and doing life on there own a pet maybe what you need. So everyday enjoy life and say tomorrow is a good day and keep going and when something goes wrong don't go at it alone. Ask for help if you need it.😇😇😇😇

I will miss Naomi Judd always. She was such a sweet lady with a good heart. She was talented, friendly and funny. She was intelligent, caring and absolutely beautiful. She had so much on her shoulders from the time she was three years old, and was molested by an Uncle. I have a feeling that she always thought that what happened was somehow her fault. She was only a baby then but her little soul was ruined. Plus her being so very ill, being beaten and raped by a drug dealer, and cast out by her mother. It just boggles the mind what this girl went through. I'm surprised that she stayed as strong as she was. There were times that I could see in her eyes that she was trying to shut out all the memories that ran through her mind. She looked so sad and helpless. Like she didn't know what to do to ease her pain. I wish I could have had the chance to talk to her. Let her know how very precious she really was, and just how much she was loved. Rest well dearest Naomi. Fly and sing with the Angels. You are in The arms of the Lord. Your pain is over. ❤❤

There's one this I find repulsive in this story. The way the men in her life are portrayed as horrible people who "Abandoned" Her. If you never had to live witha woman with depression, bipolar. and PST, you have no idea what those men went through. It's an impossible situation. You either go downhill with them, or leave. That's it. Especially when the woman refuses to deal with the problem. Or even admit it's her that is creating the hellish situation. I've been there. I got lucky. She left, and left the kids with me. If she insisted on keeping the kids, there would be no recourse for me. The courts favor the woman no matter how obvious it is that the father will be the better parent. In order to protect my kids from her insanity, I would be forced to continue to suck it up, stay and take the abuse. There is never any help for men in these situations, and when they can't take it, they are the ones vilified.

Naomi was only 17 and mentally well when her first man abandoned her when she was pregnant. She left her second husband, not the other way around. And again, she was mentally well. She only became depressed after Hep C did a number on her liver. Any liver disease causes depression. She was so I’ll and couldn’t face touring at 76. On her previous tour she was ambushed and shamed by that dreadful book as a rating scam at her expense by Oprah Winfrey. She couldn’t get up off the lounge for 2 years after the last tour and here she was being dragged out there again, a sick, old woman. For shame, making what happened to her all about you.

It made Wynona look award hungry at any cost!! I know what it's like to be bi-polar!! It has been pure HELL! Mine was caused by my so-called parents physicall, mentally and verbally abusing me!! Then when I was grown up and my dad died, I found out they were not MARRIED until 11 YEARS after their child. My mother never wanted kids and made that fact known to everyone!!! The only reason she married him was becaus he had an affair and another son was born!!! My mother found out, and knew she would NOT get his pension or SS!!!

Sonetimes its easier to end suffering ourselves than last 30, 40 years dealing with depression. Cancer can be terminal, mental illness isnt. Theres no experation date until we pass naturally and its not fair. Living with mental illness is very, very hard.

This is so sad, she always claimed to be a Christian but she committed the unforgivable sin ‼️‼️

This is an untrue statement and also Heaven or hell is ONLY for God to decide. Not you, not me. Only God knows the heart of a man and his intentions. According to the Bible, the only unforgivable sin is to deny the Holy Ghost once you have known in your heart that it is true. See Matthew 12:31, Mark 3:29, Luke 12:10, Hebrews 10:26.

.... in this video, no one ever mentioned the Lord Jesus. So what she was a celebrity, what does it profit anyone to gain the whole world and lose your own soul ?? Satan wants all of us to kill ourselves, and we need the Lord GOD Almighty to overcome the devil. Accept the Lord Jesus in your heart today. He is the answer to all your troubles. May GOD richly bless you my beloved. 💚
