There’s a major difference between babies born early 90s and early 2000s I was born 1990, my sister 2002. We had completely different childhoods. Idk why 2000s babies want to be 90s babies so bad. Yes if you were born 97-02 probably similar media but brief interactions for other years

I’m 22, born in 2001 and we only had VHS tapes no DVDs until probably 2005-06. We went to Blockbuster every Friday night and rented a tape, and had to “be kind and rewind”! I remember when we were first getting the VCR’s that had a VCR and a DVD player in one. The 90s didnt just zap away on Jan 1, 2000, we still had a lot of the same things as an early 00’s baby/kid! Especially late 90s & super early 00s,--98, 99, 00 ,01, 02--all of us resonate with a lot of millennial culture but older millennials say we're too young to be classified as millennials but we say we are too old to be classified as gen z. 98-02 = Zillennials!

Pagers: You called. It would play a recorded voicemail-like message you'd set up when you first got your pager, then the caller would dial in the number they wanted you to call them back on. You could add extra numbers, so sometimes you'd get a 911 written at the beginning or end of the number if it was an emergency. Or if it was someone you knew and it was like the only person who really called you, they might just dial in "911" alone with nothing else, and you'd know to go find a payphone soon and call them back.
