The plaintiff stored her televisions at the defendant's house. When she went to retrieve them, the defendant said they were stolen, but the plaintiff believes the defendant had something to do with it, so she's suing. The defendant says he went out of his way to help the plaintiff, and he denies the allegations.

35 years ago, I bought a 4 fam. home in a great area of Westchester County NY. the two bed. apartment, I advertised for $850 a month. the section 8 administrator inspected the apartment. She said the state would pay $1,500 a month, and the second year it would go to $1,850. by the third year the rent was at $2,250.. That's why land lords rent to section 8.

When you see these people have kids yet cant care for them without food stamps and cash assistance, they role up in luxury cars, designer clothes and accessories, and then when their own kids turn 18 only to get right on food stamps making it generational, it gets old real quick. My moral of the story is this woman will never get ahead in life. She gets government housing assistance and probably other federal assistance. Instead of using the assistance as a bridge she uses it as a never ending freeway.
