He was paying other items. He plays child support for 2 other kids which means if she does child support he probably pays like $100/monthly. If you co-parent and both parents are doing well then your child is doing great. You want them doing well because if you ever go down you want your kid doing great. This is a common sense stance and since traditional marriage with kids seems to be more rare now people need to learn maturity and the village concept. Help the whole village when they’re down so everyone does well and supports. Stop being bitter and holding grudges, she’s married and happy she’s doing the right thing. Only thing missing is a receipt so both parties know how the help works without confusion

He’s a sorry excuse for a man, and she needs to quit giggling and excusing his behavior. First she let him talk her out of paying court-ordered child support by crying broke. Then she let him dry-beg her out of part of HER winnings. What kind of man would even ACCEPT money from the woman who supports his child? And to make matters worse, she then decided to “help” him pay her back by offering to let him claim the child that he only provides marginal support for. Meanwhile, she’s putting all of this effort into trying to get his sorry butt in school, etc. Does he do ANYTHING for himself, (other than make babies)? 🙄

She won $6500, not a huge windfall. She should have kept the winnings to herself and not boasted about it. She also got nothing in writing in regards to the loan. Also the defendant is a BUM, she knew it. Tough case here. I do believe this was a loan but she should have known he wouldn't pay.
