Hi karina😊. We used to do this to our pants in the 60’s and 70’s. It’s funny when trends come back.

Love your tutorials. Can the legato jeans possibly be made with a faux fly and yoga waistband? Also can you recommend a trouser style knit pant with a yoga waistband? Would so appreciate your help. Thank you.
@LiftingPinsandNeedles2 жыл бұрын
No, you cannot make the legatos with a faux fly and yoga waistband. They have not been drafted to fit properly with a super duper stretchy woven and that’s what you need to be able to pull them up over your hips. I’d recommend the Mountain view pull on jeans from Itch to Stitch and the Metro pull on jeans from Sinclair for what you want.

How can I shorted a pair of jeans that has a split already on the jeans with using the original hem

I bought Christine Jonson split leg pants PDF pattern but have yet to download it. I wonder if it would work with a stretch velvet for the holidays? What do you think?
@LiftingPinsandNeedles2 жыл бұрын
The pattern is designed for knits so stretch velvet will work if it also has some vertical stretch.
