It's incredibly telling that he casts himself as the high school heartthrob. None of the jokes are even funny, and many of them are blatantly derivative of Dan Schneider (All That, Amanda Show, iCarly, etc.) Nothing is well-written or cohesive, none of the character relationships are properly established or explained, it feels more like a series of skits spliced together into a 90-minute KZbin video rather than a film. This is what happens when you can't work with people or accept criticism, and assume total control over all of the creative decisions. Shane Dawson is not Stanley Kubrick, no matter how much he thinks he is.

I understand why Zachary Quinto wants nothing to do with this, it's pretty immature and riddled with cheap humor. I know I'm not a part of this audience, but raising the bar will make a lot more people take you seriously. ***** Wow what kind of jerk comments something like this on a video like this? Shane is one of the most down to earth KZbinrs I have found that I can truly believe is a great guy in person. Just because he has expensive things now doesn't mean he's changed his personality any. He's just probably happy that he can now celebrate and show off his success. If I worked as hard and as long as Shane did for all his success and fame I'd flaunt the shit out of everything I had too. It doesn't make him a bad freaking person.
