The colonists go through a story arc of their own as your fleet builds up the Colony. You watch them go from arguing over every little thing to gradually working out their differences and learning to work together. Off the top of my head, it's implied some of the Lukari resorted to ecoterrorism prior to them leaving Kentar, attacking factories and the like.
@SampoPaalanen3 жыл бұрын
I be careful in trusting what is said there too much even if neither the Kentari nor the Lukari aren't exactly lying their info on that conflict would come from a highly biased sources that most likely paints their own side as angelic saints, while painting the other side as demonic monsters only out to destroy and hurt people. All Kentari records would be from victors of the civil war so they would most likely not record any atrocities they did, while putting more emphasis on the atrocities made by the Lukari (or possibly even making ones up for misblaming the lukari for things done by loyalist Kentari, while the Lukari would want to paint themselves as the innocent victims and thus would do essentially the same.
@BlueSatoshi3 жыл бұрын
@@SampoPaalanen I'd like to believe there's some truth to the claims, because it means, at least in the distant past, that meant the Lukari had some growing pains. Maybe the ones that allegedly resorted to terrorism were more extreme elements of their movement. Whatever the case, it'd mean things aren't _entirely_ clear cut.
@SampoPaalanen3 жыл бұрын
@@BlueSatoshi There is most certainly some truth to them but to what extent we simply do not know. Normally I enjoy "game episodes" more so than modern Star Trek. But this one, not so much. they're afraid of a bacteria, ok, but rather than simply inoculating those going down to the planet against the harmful effects of the bacteria, they've literally changed how the planet works, the whole planet??? That disturbs me.. The icing on the cake was the smug, limp-wristed environmental message they tried to throw on at the end. How can they possibly have a morality message like that when they literally changed the ecosystem of the entire planet just suit them? That's some serious Discovery Vibes they're giving off.
