Oisin Hughes I cannot comment on Africa, but I can appreciate what you are saying. China would be an adventure - I don't trust any of them - leading cause of death is medical mistakes in the USA - so I stay away from them unless absolutely necessary.

Really enjoying your series, Oisin. Great rolling commentary with excerpts from other parts of your journey. I guess the words to keep in mind in Central America are: "go with the flow"? Side note: what would be the smallest size bike you'd recommend taking on this type of adventure - considering gas range, comfort, reliability, carrying capacity of gear, etc.?

Hi there ... Thanks for watching .. I think a 650 would be the smallest. People have done it on 125s and 250s but there is a lot of boring road to cover too ... It's nice to be able to speed up when needed 😀

Lol - I know that photocopy BS, we don't have it in SE Asia but I have had to walk back over the border to the copy shop to make a romanized number plate, ball ache innit
