Really enjoying your take on the "Doroga Kostey" and the way you traversed it - I visited Khandyga (well, Teply Klyuch) in July 1992 on the way up to the towns called Zyryanka and Chersky on the Kolyma River, north of Ust-Nera. I see you opted for the "new bypass road" from Kyubeme to Ust-Nera and down to Khadychan rather than the "Old Summer Road" from Kyubeme via Tomtor to Khadychan, which was probably wise! The latter was the original Road of Bones route between Kyubeme and Khadychan but the section between Tomtor and Khadychan was abandoned in 2005 or so once construction on the bit you travel in this KZbin segment was being built. A fascinating part of the world.

Rough, dusty roads, rocky river crossings, bridges out or in serious disrepair. What else do we expect from far eastern Russia? Excellent travelogue, Oisin.

Is there any chance we can get all the episodes or is there a reason why we can't. I have seen them all and they are just fantastic. Should be a guest on the late late or other similar show for all Irish bikers to enjoy.

There is so much great trailer music- incredible back ground music in your videos. Is there a way to identify each video with songs/artists. I have already paid for the song Save Me by Bob Bradley & Giuseppe De Lucas. I have now watched all videos the second time. Can't decide if I want the ebook or paper version. Bloody inspiring, same league with Coalbatch, Curry and Team Sibersky Extreme. Bravo, come and visit me in New Mexico.

Part #37. In Russia "37" means Stalin's repressions of 1937 year.
