Foil around wooden skewer, no foil. 2 solutions remove the skewer or soak/dip skewer in water for 30 seconds. Being careful to avoid dipping the meat lolly. I've done a pair at a time ( different product) it came out fine no fire. Tried Putting dried skewer in later (by itself) started smoking after 1½ minutes.

They have a enough chilli in them to cause burning of a particular part of my anatomy when I went for a pee after eating them. The moral is to use a fork and not your fingers and to wash your hands instead of wiping them on a paper towel. I had to smear yoghurt on Mr Winkie to try and cool it down as washing was having no effect. Love your videos by the way, you are an inspiration.

You think that's bad, I grow my own chillis and I chopped some up for me and the misus to put in our dinner! Yes well I washed my hands thoroughly but let's just say at bed time she felt like she was on fire and my chopper felt burnt

I get 600gm of kebab meat from Iceland, then I get "easy open" pitta bread, and a box of salad from Tesco's. Make my own garlic mayonnaise, and have a pretty damn good Kebab for about £1!

Cheers to the wife for thinking of the dip! Clever lass. Don't see the point of the stick if people are just going to pull it off (ooh what he said). Now if you were having a party, you could cut the koftas up the short way and stick toothpicks in them for appetizers. Another thought is making lettuce wraps or cabbage rolls out of them. I suppose these people who go on about garbage meat never ate a hot dog or sausage of any kind in their lives, nor ate a fast-food burger or a chicken nugget.

I've tried these. I've also tried the Carolina Reaper quarter pounder beef burgers, chicken strips and shredded chicken which were a bit spicier. I picked up a tikka masala curry made with Pepper X at Iceland which I can't wait to try but it might be a bit much for most people.

Let's be honest? 6 Koftas for £4? That is a bit of a bargain. A lot less than buying from a take-away. Carolina Reaper? I like to have the original flavour. I love Reaper in my Chilli's, because I love hot, spicy food. I would buy these, no problem. But I would make my own dips. I thought that this was a great review. A great value for money review. Which is what your all about. 👍👍.

Here’s a tip for you Gareth. When doing foods with skewers in ovens and the like- dip them in veg oil before you put them in the oven. Stops them burning. 👍 no need to waste or worry about tinfoil then.

If you've got no foil , you can dip the skewers in water for a couple of minutes , that should stop them burning.

Hi Gareth, good review, yet again. The Koftas looked tasty enough, but it's only part of a meal. I don't know how much you'd pay in a takeaway, so I'm not sure if it's good value or not. Overstating the spice level again! and again, with the packaging, they could have cut that in half with proper thought. If I ever get to an Iceland. I might give them a go. Gareth the only reason these Low Quality so called Meat products have to have vast amounts of Chilli added to the muck they call meat is to disguise the original smell and taste. The hotter they make it yhe lower the ingredients quality. Non of this process rubbish for me. Love your reviews wishing you a wonderful Christmas. Colin
