well im divided on this one because real scammers wont write in the ad NO PAPERS and they also wont give u their real name and address so its almost impossible to sue them and also real scammers would NEVER include a 1000 dollar motorcycle and just give that money away so i kind of believe that the seller did explain the situation to the plaintiff but the plaintiff simply changed his mind later after probably found another vehicle that he liked better for a good price . and i think i do believe that the bank was gonna help the plaintiff but the plaintiff just wanted his money back instead .

Agreed. I inherited my grandmother’s car when she died and it was easy to change ownership of the car to me. The only things required were that the executors had to sign the papers to transfer the title over to me, and I had to go to the DMV a pay a $40 fee to process the paperwork. It wasn’t that hard, it took the executors about 5 minutes to fill in the paperwork, and it cost me $40 and time waiting in line at the DMV, and this was 20 years ago.

The defendant is lucky that the judge did not just rule for the plaintiff when the defendant kept interrupting her. Let's say that the defendant was telling the truth and that he did not know that there was a lien on the truck. He still is responsible for selling a truck that is not even supposed to be sold. I do not think that you are allowed to sell a vehicle for parts when there is a lien on it because legally, it is not yours. But when you sell something, you are responsible for knowing about that item and if you are even legally allowed to sell it. The defendant was lucky that the truck was not stolen. Do not buy a vehicle without a clear title, not even for parts.

When will you people learn. Ask the seller to meet you at the DMV to switch the title. If they say they cannot walk away. They know whatever scam they’re running is up. CYA. The seller knows they are not riding around in a car still registered to you. Buyer knows he has a clear title. Easy peasy.

You cannot legally sell a car you do not own- The Lienholder owns it. Its a "voidable" sale because its illegal. Often you sell with a Bill of Sale and you can take this risk. But, the Lien may simply need to be cleared if it was paid off. For example: Tow Yards, Estate Sales, etc, can sell a vehicle but DMV fees can be owed before it can be registered.

To the judge have that same energy for the defendant because if the defendant was black you would be going in. The defendant is a con artist .I had bad experiences with Facebook marketplace with sellers that are dishonest.

I'm curious. There are some of you in these comments insisting this judge is racist against black people (which as a black person myself I entirely disagree with) but STILL insist on watching and supporting her show. That makes no sense to me. Do y'all give monthly donations to the KKK as well while crying about them being bigots? Make it make sense. 🤔

Why is the judge acting so angry when she Obviously is MIXED UP about the titles. I usually think of her as smart but not in this episode: she is showing her butt. She needs to listen more. The defendant kept tryingto explaun his side. If the vehicle was sold for parts only, then buyer isnot promised a title. Plaintiff wS trying to pull a fast one.

Totally agree with her decision here, BUT it appeared that she didn't understand what a bonded title is, nor that the plaintiff was the one who obtained the bonded title. None of which was relevant at the end but it was strange to watch the confusion.

It's clear Milian is burnt out from this job because of how she conducts herself. The constant speaking over the litigants during her obnoxious and disrespectful rants speaks for itself. She needs to retire. Both litigants were convincing in this case. But the lean on the vehicle sunk the defendant here.

As I said to you before, I love watching court shows/proceedings. Just because I'm critical of this judge not to mention the litigants giving my own assessment doesn't mean I cannot watch. You people get on here as much as I do day after day and do the exact same thing when criticizing litigants. But I include the judge as well when I see fit. But that making sense to you won't register obviously.

Correction: the litigant was talking over the judge. He was warned several times to stop interrupting the person in charge of the room. It's a court of law. Not an community meeting. Your bias has blinded you

Who the fuck cares if you post more positive comments. You aren't me bro. You think I need to say, think, speak, have the same mannerisms etc...as you folk. Absolutely not. I think for myself and have my own personal feelings and beliefs about what I see in front of me. Just because those things don't align with yours is a you problem. You don't see me on here saying everyone should feel as I do. Get over yourself and move on with your lives. I'm not a robot with need to be followers like the majority of you.
