amazing review. as a someone who's been using this mic since 2019, i agree with everything and i'm sick of it taking so much breath noise . i want to change it with a better one and all of your suggestions look great, i can go a bit higher tho and really don't want to bother with the xlr ones, i just want to stream& make videos without being have to edit every second and scene lol. should i buy one from your suggestions or go for something like sm7v ? at2020 also looks good

Hey sir from your video, I got a little idea on how to purchase things. I normally just buy whatever looks good and cheap in the market. On the other hand, you have a better approach. I can even apply your thinking from other things I purchase in my life. Buy products from brands that specialize on that product you want to get. Great insights sir. May I ask, what are your suggested microphone companies? Thank you.

Good morning, I have started to watch your videos and I learn a lot with them, so I congratulate you, keep doing that great job you do. I am new in this world of recording and I am very curious to see how you make your videos. From how you record, what lens do you use to record yourself, photo style, etc. And how do you do your post-production? It would be a very interesting video for those interested in this world. A hug brother and keep it up!!

Thanks so much for the kind words, Bryan! I really appreciate that. I actually did create a video similar to that a while back. Oddly enough, it performed really poorly. Maybe I can redo it and find a better way to get it in front of the right audience! Here it is if you're curious. It's a little dated as it was recorded at my old house. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j37UentnbrKYe8U. Thanks again for the kind words!

During my covid pc days. I bought this mic and it was nice however I dont have a mic stand yet yeah I'm broke after buying my setup. 😂 But as its called a "streaming mic" it not for KZbin vids but I'll get use to it. Thats my opinion please dont hate ❤

I used a Razer Seiren X for about 2 years. It was probably the worst microphone I think I could've possibly gotten, now I've sold it however and I just use the microphone on my new Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which is perfectly adequate for what I use it for - which consists of just chatting with friends over discord, etc. Not to mention I also had the issue where the Seiren X would crackle all the time.

Ugggh that’s so annoying. I just watched Harris Hellers video on this, about gaming companies making microphones (not audio companies). It’s really difficult to find good quality microphones in the gaming community.

Have a Razer keyboard, mouse and mousepad. I won't get anything else from them, like speakers. Same reasoning you noted to get a mic from a mic company.

Glad to hear there are people feeling this way. I was thinking I might have been a bit harsh and dramatic, but this is validating :) Thanks for the comment!

Mine has static I can’t get rid of and pop sounds
@randyrektor2 жыл бұрын
You may have a grounding issue with your setup. Are you using a USB interface? Not sure why it would be popping. It has a pretty decent plosive rejection but you may want to add a foam cover to the front of it

Ha ha ‘just buy your mic’s from microphone companies’. Sounded way better boomed and close. When you say “$100” do you mean Canadian or US?
@randyrektor2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha! Yea actually pretty good sounding up close, but I’d hate to drop it… ever. It’s USD, unfortunately. I should really start representing Canada better with CAD :)
@JasonLorette2 жыл бұрын
@@randyrektor ha ha I always ask because when someone starts saying a price with no US/CDN I start doing mental math lol US, exchange, shipping, etc, lol.
@randyrektor2 жыл бұрын
Yes, same here! It’s $139 on Amazon .ca ($108 on sale right now). Not too shabby

What a shame this noise... Anyone in the whole life ,once reached a Razer support?

Honestly, I feel like it may be a waste of my time. They are a computer company, not an audio company. I imagine their audio quality is extremely low in their priority lists. Who knows hahah
