Welcome to the final episode of our series on traveling to Mongolia during the winter. This vlog will cover the last two days we spent in the nation's capital, Ulaanbaatar. Many KZbinrs will tell you that Ulaanbaatar isn't the most exciting city, but we found that there was plenty to do. Join us as we explore Ulaanbaatar's famous Zaisan memorial, which pays tribute to the once strong relationship between Mongolia and the Soviet Union, the country's oldest museum called the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum, the infamous Narantuul Market (sometimes known as the Black Market!) and the capital's newest museum, The Chinggis Khaan National Museum. We also braved the cold to go out to dinner and explored the city at night!

Excellent videos! I had a 10 day tour of Mongolia in June 2023 tracking the life of Chenghis Khan which I really enjoyed but i must admit even in their summer the nights in the ‘get’ is really cold!!

Fascinating videos which confirmed that Mongolia is definitely on my ‘must go’ list. I think you were very brave to go in winter & for me, I think summer would be best!

@@nycflyertravel In Kyrgyzstan I'm planning to finally get to fly on the MD83 which has been on my bucket list for quite some time and possibly also go for a round trip with the Avro. TezJet has both of these rare types in their fleet and I want to use the opportunity

I m so impressed that you guys did not bother to walking whole day at all. Locals prefer to stuck in traffic for hours than walking. You just showed them how tiny UB actually is. I would have never crossed brookylyn bridge by foot 🤣🤣. Escpecially during winter. That thick smoke layer sight from the memorial is just so horrifying. Never seen that thick smoke layer for ages. Anyways enjoyed your videos. Come summer again to experience the wilderness.

Thanks for watching! To be honest, it was a bit difficult walking around so much after awhile in the cold, but I really prefer walking around than driving. The smog was difficult, but I actually got used to it by the end,

Well we never think our city is big. It should be enough for us to live. That's it! We don't want more. Time will take us there, anyway!!!
