If you can stomach it checkout the episode where robyn tells her kids the family won't be getting together for thanksgiving 2020. She does pretty much exactly what you said. She basically tells them no one wants to be around them enough to get together for thanksgiving. It's really hard to watch.

@@NotestoSelf444 I love that you have several sweet tech supports who take care of you, 🥰 without having to ask! That’s love, having to ask, just for the little things is sometimes so hard! I didn’t grow up in AUB but was raised in the south, they call “the Bible Belt” I guess we all have things we have to work through. I’m over 60, so it’s difficult to change something you’ve believed all your live, no matter what denomination your in? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I grew up orthodox Mormon and definitely identify with the culture you describe. It's exactly the same, without polygamy. And polygamists were all around us, it was definitely a topic in the family. My mom fully accepted that she'd be living polygamy in heaven lol. The culture itself is abusive. I'm also in my 50's and still recovering. It can take decades to unwind the conditioning and programming.

I'm not trying to be mean, but how is Mormonism "another testament of Jesus" when it teaches polygamy in heaven? Jesus himself in Matthew 22 says that there will be no marriage or giving in marriage in heaven. That's just one place where mormonism diverts from the words of Jesus. People say that mormons also read the Bible and believe it, but I just don't see how that's true. Is there some justification that Mormonism teaches for that?

@ sorry I hit the send button on accident 😂. I agree with you I feel like there are dozens of of places in the Book of Mormon that directly conflict with things taught in the Bible. Growing up my dad’s reasoning for this is that they believe the Bible as long as it is translated correctly. So some of the teaching that conflict with the Bible means the Bible isn’t translated correctly according to them.

She planted ideas, and then kody went with along with it. He's just as guilty, if not more, the strife and devision of the family. I think he's mentally and emotionally abusive. I also think they were cheating before they had Meri do the supposed introduction in her cousins yard. Their story is always changing. On another note, when I disassociated from the Jehovah's witnesses, I realized how many of the same doctrines and teachings are the same as the Mormons. The shunning is brutal but we never looked back!

I respect your opinion abt Robyn's daughters, but I respectfully disagree, I believe they're playing the part and I say this because of past behavior..There was a clip of Christine talking with Savannah and Savannah says they didn't speak at school and Brianna was somewhat of a mean girl.. There's also the time Janelle and Savannah had to stay in the camper on Coyote Pass, and Robyn and her daughters was looking at ot for the 1st time, and Brianna ask if Savannah bedroom was the cat room and hoe was they going to fit in the bathroom..She was just really trying to make Savannah feel horrible, while Nomma and her siblings live at the top of the property in a mansion..,Also bern rumored there's a video of them drinking and talking shit Abt the OG3 and other kids..So, Im sure they all talk shit abt the rest of the family along with Kody and Robyn when not being filmed..😢

Protestant church beliefs and practices vary more than you can imagine. There is no governing body over all of them that makes decisions that standardize things. You should check out a southern or Bible Baptist church and then a pentecostal church service for context.

I myself am ex-mormon and it's taken me years to deprogram and myself and my kids have gone through lots of crap living in a small 75% mormon town! Notes to Self 444 When you say Robyn planted the seed to Meri to get divorced do you believe that Robyn is pulling the strings for everyone involved including Kody? I’m having a hard time figuring out if Robyn is the master manipulator over everyone or if it’s Robyn and Kody working together. I’m leaning towards Kody is fooled by Robyn and really believes Robyn is shy and has good intentions. It’s like she’s cast a spell on him. I still believe Kody is horrible himself as well. It’s like they’re the same person just in male and female form.

In my experience with my dad’s favorite wife it felt like she had complete dominance over him. He did what he was told & when he was told. Usually this came at the expense of the other wives & children.
