Labour does NOT have a massive majority. Labour only has the support of 20% of the total electorate (9.7 million votes out of 48.2 million registered voters). At best, with 33.7% of the 60% of the electorate who actually voted, it's 2 to 1 against Labour. Our electoral system which is badly flawed and outdated has created the biggest travesty of democracy in our history. The electoral system needs replacing immediately with something along the lines of Proportional Representation. Because the Greens have 40 less seats than they deserve and Reform have 88 seats (yes, 88!) less than they deserve, along with other parties in a similar situation, there is a significant proportion (MILLIONS) of UK people not represented in parliament. Labour have 197 more seats than they deserve and, along with Starmer's "sausages" faux pas and others, the UK must be the laughing stock of the civilised world.

How is any of this legal? Issues like this mean that all politicians are for sale to any Lobbyist who can afford to provide that politician with the things that politician wants.
